From what i read Steam/Valve just removed items got from idle programs anyway

No, it's definitely working. I tested it on Payday 2 and it works.

yes but at some point the items got removed from ever cheaters like you - i don't know 100% how longer after it took but it did happen so the link said - anyway you can have a black list for cheating
