What does your heart tell you to do with this bundle? (What tier will you get?)

View Results
Tier 1!! <3
Tier 2 - BTA is calling my name
Tier 3 all the way!
Tier 4 - That T-shirt ...

I am a heartless person ....

Be warned these games aren't split up, so if you have a few already you have to redeem several games with one key rather than one. And no you will not get extra giftable copies if you already own them.

Edit: The keys are grouped as follows.

Medieval II: Total War Collection
Viking: Battle for Asgard
Total War: ARENA Beta Access Key

Empire: Total War Collection

Total War: ROME II - Emperor Edition
Total War: ROME II - Wrath of Sparta Campaign Pack
Total War: ROME II - Caesar in Gaul Campaign Pack
Total War: ROME II - Nomadic Tribes Culture Pack
Total War: ROME II - Pirates and Raiders Culture Pack

Non Steam keys grouping

If Tier 3 wasn't bundled, I'd be tempted, but I have the base game and only need some of the DLC. I'm going to just grab T1 for Shogun and the bonuses- I'm enjoying the Lindsay Powell book, even if it is a bit brief. Though, I guess, for a dollar I cannot complain!

+1
I'd get it for 2 of the DLC, and then have a good game to give, but NOoooo

Anyone have a prediction for next week's unlocked games? My guess would be Rome: Total War and Napoleon: Total War.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I hope it's Rome 1 :)

which would be consistent with the soundtrack on t1

Permalink

Also probably Shogun 2 or FotS with some dlcs, and one dlc for Attila.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Shogun 2 or Fall of the Samurai might be included next week, but I really doubt it. Even though the Shogun 2 games are 3-4 years old now, they are still going for US$30 each on Steam (or US$40 for the collection). IsThereAnyDeal indicates that the cheapest price Shogun 2 has hit was US$7.50, the cheapest price Fall of the Samurai has hit was US$7.50, the the cheapest price the Shogun 2 collection has hit was US$10.00. I would guess that SEGA still considers Shogun 2 to be too valuable right now to include in their BTA unlocks next week.

Avatar CQ in Shogun 2 is dead now and the game has a lot of DLCs. I think it's possible to be bundled.

See? They added Shogun 2. Too bad for me, since I owned it and wanted FotS. ^^

You can buy the bundle with VPN no problem, and use the serials on Steam as normal with nothing special required for activation.

Btw - for the gamehandout.com site, I can't access it because of adblock. I don't want to disable adblock just to view the site, so I don't know if there's an option for other users to view the page if they also use adblock?

I thought Rome II - Emperor Edition includes ALL of the DLC... Why are they including 4 DLCs on top of the Emperor Edition for the $15 tier, if it's the same key???

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I think the difference between Rome II and Rome II: Emperor Edition is this: "Emperor Edition is the definitive edition of ROME II, featuring an improved politics system, overhauled building chains, rebalanced battles and improved visuals in both campaign and battle."

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

it includes 1 DLC for "free"

I'd be pissed if I had gotten the 1st release

never mind, it's a free update lol

Comment has been collapsed.

Yeah, me too. :/

This bundle is good for me tho. I didn't had any Total War game besides the Total War: Arena beta, almost bought Rome II on the last sale, and now almost everything is only $15, and there yet more gameS to come.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, I bought Medieval, Rome, Medieval 2, Empire, Shogun 2 and Rome 2 at release (and I haven't played Rome 2 yet). I am not sad about this tho, but I will never buy a TW game at release either.

I bought Sleeping Dogs just 1-2 weeks before they released Definitive Edition and DE had all the DLCs for a price cheaper than I bought Sleeping Dogs.

So it's not the same Emperor Edition as the one currently in the Steam store?

yes it is:)

Permalink

Well, now I am thoroughly confused... The Emperor Edition in the Steam store right now seems to include ALL DLC, as per the store page... So does the $15 tier include all the Rome II DLC?

Emperor for me only has one free dlc and a 11 to buy.

Thanks, Mille. :) I'll probably pass as I'm only missing Shogun: Total War Collection and Medieval: Total War Collection. Since I can't share the others it seems it would be too much of a waste.

They are deliberately implementing anti-regifting sales agreements with HB in this case, targeted directly at the SG community and sites like this one. Not cool, SEGA, not cool at all.

Hey, just a question. I already bought tier 3 for myself, I would like to buy tier 1 to giveaway. Is that possible? Does it works if I buy as a gift?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Probably have to ask for the tier to get added to the games list via support as it does contain an alpha key which may cause issues (which last I checked isn't exactly allowed on SG even though it may be bundled with full games).

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Already bought Tier 1, Medieval: Total War Collection is tempting but it's in BTA and single key policy made it impossible to share it with others, so better wait next week.
Not interested in RTW 2, not until they release RTW 2 Collection :D
