Humble support is excellent. Rule of thumb, don't activate keys and contact support while the bundle is still going if possible; if you do both of those things, they're pretty certain to respond in your favor. Even past that, if you've a reasonable concern, always take it up with them. They're agreeable enough that you've always got a shot of a favorable response.
For future consideration, people on SG have noted that if you purchase your sub as a gift and then activate that gift on your account, it won't associate automatic resubbing with it.
