Check your steam account first whether or not you can buy it. If steam hasn't updated your account then it's no use trying to resync here.

Games that are free to play/free weekends only appear in your list if you have them installed. It's only by manually checking whether you can buy a game you can verify if it's still considered owned or not. Sometimes steam will get rid of them within a few hours after the free weekend, sometimes a few days may be needed. It might help by logging in and out multiple times a day, but I doubt it.

There are Chivalry giveaways that I can't enter because it says I have the game.
I can't enter it even if I resync my account, it still says I have it (I don't) :|.
