I don't regret buying the Ultimate Edition, as I kinda neglect my Origin, there is only free stuff on it. Better keep my stuff on one account :)

lol, 70€ is already very bad and very expensive regional pricing, but 80€ is even more.

I'd rather pay for any game on Steam than to have it for free on Origin. I'm not down with greedy corporate EA scum and their anti-Steam agenda. Screw them. I just won't play Mass Effect 3 or Battlefield.

Actually, the Ultimate Edition was 5€ on Steam back in May. I don't regret getting that one. And the non-Ultimate edition was just 3€ or something like that.

But I think this isn't so much about making us get Inquisition, but EA is rather trying hard to make people use Origin. They've been giving away some high-profile AAA classics. I got these games on Origin for free: Dead Space, Battlefield 3, Dragon Age Origins, The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. And Wing Commander 3 (OK, that one is a retro AAA title.)

I think Valve has done that only once (L4D2) and it was extremely time-limited (24 hours; if you missed it, tough.)

I got the Ultimate Edition years ago for £5 from Steam and I don't regret buying it one bit. Even if I only bought DAO UE last week it would still be worth it over standard edition on the house because getting all the dlc separately cost more than the Ultimate Edition even when it isn't on sale.

How are they buggy ? And also how can you say while you don't own them ?

never had the origin or steam version just played the game at my friends place. he played with elf rogue. i preferred elf mage.
Awakening was the buggy one. You were unable to make a Warden out of them due to some bug. It might be repaired since that. The DLCs were just badly made. They used maps from the base game on different locations. So you could get into the same house and cave you were before.

I regret buying the ultimate edition because I never have the time to play all the DLCs.

As a fan, this is good news, even tho I have the game already. At least now every one could experience the game, that is Dragon Age!

If only game prices are a tad lower in Origin, I would've buy DA:I this instance. Pre-order be damned.

I like the opportunity to see the difference between the console version and PC version firsthand, and for free.

I don't have any consoles anymore, so the differences won't be a matter to me.

I always have consoles and PC, but I've heard the gameplay is significantly different for DA from console to PC.

Yeah, from what I can see by playing the game on PC is that DA2 was made in favor of consoles. The larger UI, game menus, and how they get rid of the tactical camera.
So it plays better with a controller, compared to DA:O which is much more of a mouse/keyboard oriented imo.

You'll get a duplicate copy if you already have the game.

This is a special Origin feature, you can add thousands of copies of the same game to expand your library, now you can have 10x times more games on Origin than on Steam.

it doesn't happen always. for example i think bejeweled did not duplicate as far as i remember. about dead space, it was duplicated during some weeks and then one copy was silently removed.
