Reason for Whitelist...

Helpful information like Zelg's puzzle guide gave him a lot white list.

I was WL because I firstly BL someone and we had nice talk afterwards (like really, he's a really nice guy xD).

In addition to the above - writing interesting or insightful posts in the forum.

I heard some people whitelist from whom they win games.

I only whitelist friends and people I won games from.
It's only nice that when I've won a game you gave away, that you have a chance on a game I give away (because I usually give in groups and otherwise they wouldn't have a chance).

Being nice and polite to the giveaway creator when you win their GA.

Fulfilling a special request in an extraordinary way. Say, I asked for bathtub of vanilla pudding and you get me a swimming pool of vanilla pudding complete with diving board, pool toys, and 6 lifeguards. I would whitelist the heck of someone for that.

I whitelist users that create interesting puzzles

Hmm...6, 7, 12 and 13 are tough, but I've SO got the rest of them!

1. wings or sexy? well, definitely sexy...check.
2. nice/helpful? check.
3. high ratio? depends on the criteria, but...check.
4. cool avatar? super cool, check.
5. cool username? obviously, check.
6. well...not so much
7. yeah...not this either, mostly
8. chatting? BAA, check.
9. nice trader? I don't trade much, but when I do...check.
10. interesting/insightful posts? like this one...check.
11. winning? pfff, yeah...check.
12. my family? no, not so much
13. uh...nope
14. whitelisting? not often, but when merited...check.
15. define "special"...I'm not sure I'm prepared for that kind of commitment... tentative check.
16. have you seen the puzzle in my variety train? check.
17. well, again, not often, but when merited...check I guess...? O_o
18. SO yes, check.

I like to whitelist the "good" people around SG. This is why in every WL giveaway i make i pronounce them "Good People"

How i define someone as "good"? You are helpful, kind, not selfish and you try your best to put a smile on others' faces. So far, 62 people made it in that list. 62 SG members are helpful, kind, not selfish and try their best to put a smile on others' faces

Sometimes I want to whitelist all the forum visitors! Well, almost all. But then I remember I never done whitelist giveaways... Whatever.

I created whitelist for my friends because I personally like them and most of them are friends of mine. Plus it helps me avoid problems with GA's. Last one reason is very popular as far as I know.
