Riculoius?
Nothing wrong if someone wants to blacklist people for not reading the description, but reporting them is indeed ridiculous

I'm doing exactly that.. asking politely to not leave generic/automatic 'Thanks' .. but I'm getting those tons of people that make a joke of my request and make it ungeneric but still fill my message box. I'm not defending this guy trying to make it a support issue.. but for me automatic 'empty' Thank yous are useless.

Friendly advice, but I'd close the discussion. You can see the user and profile picture of the person and calling out is also against the rules.

I'm sure they'd love it, but an occasional forum rant won't really change that. There are a lot more users here than actually read the forums, let alone care about what people have to say. Their giveaways, their rules. If people are taking up too much of supports time, they'll let them know to tone it down.
It's stupid as hell obviously, if people really find it to be that much of a problem then they should just use the equally stupid blacklist and move on, but unfortunately people enjoy generating drama such as this very thread.

There's not really a way to prove that someone is using scripts though. I write some form of 'thank you' on most giveaways I enter, and I'm pretty sure I'm not a robot. Though now that I think about it....

What if somebody made you to be a robot that thought he was human?

Yeah, I try to change up my thank you comments for that very reason haha

you tried so hard but you forgot to block out the URL

Sounds like just a threat to discourage "thank you" jokes to me. I can't imagine people bothering to fill so many useless report tickets.

You have combined Potato and Yes. Now you, sir, are a genius :)
I agree that this shouldn't be something support has to deal with, makes you realise why support is so slow, they have to go through all this bull <.<

This is getting ridiculous.
(Yes, "Riculoius" is a totally a word and not a typo)
EDIT: I agree than having your mail box full of thanks can be annoying. People can write on the GAs that saying "thanks" will get them Blacklisted. What I disagree is w/ the wasting of support's time w/ this petty nonsense.
