Good luck, so this was out at least in 2004-2005 then? Any idea what the game even looked like? Lke, Baldur's Gate or the early Fallout games? I have no idea what it might be, and probably never played it, though, but wonder if was a cRPG game.

Most likely a cRPG, better graphics than the earlier Fallout games. Added an atmosphere section to the thread.

I've been searching for one particular game I played a couple of years ago, I can't say a lot about it, but I think I can say enough for it to be recognized by at least one of you guys.
Atmosphere:
Gameplay:
Tutorial:
Hub Area:
First Level:
Another thing that might help, I remember that the PC I played this game on had Half Life 2 and it was relatively new at the time.
It'd be great if you guys can link any game that seems even faintly like the described, thank you for reading and potentially helping.
Ruled out games: Hitman Franchise, Splinter Cell Franchise and Metal Gear Solid
