What tier will you get?
All of those are garbage if you're serious about game development and want to create commercial games. You can find better alternatives for free.
The only one that's not awful would I guess be RPG Maker MV. While it's better than other RPGM's in terms of having less limitations it's still not perfect.

What better alternatives would you recommend? I was thinking of getting tier 2, not planning on going full serious about developing right on but thought its a good start

I think RPG Toolkit is probably a good and free alternative to RPG Maker.
Godot Engine seems like a great engine that can create 2D or 3D games and export to many platforms. It's open source and free and it's still being worked on. It's far better than everything in this BundleStars bundle. I haven't tried it yet, but from the little research I did I think this engine could be great whether you want to make games for hobby or make commercial ones.
Also there are many free open source engines out there now. You can look for more of them here

Maybe, but I heard gamemaker studio isnt beginner friendly so maybe I should avoid it atm

Really? I always heard the opposite. From what I've been told it uses much simpler code. Plus from my own experience I know there's a lot of drag and drop stuff so you don't have to code. Or at least I know I only used the drag and drop pre-coded icons to set stuff up. I never really coded anything.
Edit: That was years ago though so I dunno maybe GM Studio is harder.

Yeah, I haven't used studio yet, but years back I used to just mess around with the drag-and-drop stuff in the original GM.

I would recommend Construct 2. A bit pricey (!?) but simple to use. I have better experience using Construct than using GM Studio. It also have a much larger community where you can find a lot of tutorials and pre-built templates.

Damn, looks good but way too expensive to me. Will consider it later, maybe Ill check the free edition first.

If you only want to make something, use Game Maker or RPG Maker MV. Both have a really great community and a lot of ways to learn.
In my opinion anyway, MV uses javascript, an usefull language for more than just making games. Game Maker uses their own language, who only is usefull on that software.
Obviously MV is for making RPGs, Game Maker for anything on 2D. For 3D, Unity or Unreal, but you don't want to start with 3D. xD

Why are you replying to me? Based on what you said, your reply was probably meant for Mishosonic.
If he only wants to make games for hobby, then he can just download one of the competent free open source engines. I'd avoid MV, GameMaker is decent but expensive. I think Godot Engine should be given a try before Unity. And Unreal should only be used as last resort because of their royalties system.

MV is the only thing I'd really want out of that, but that's waaay too expensive to be worth it for me, lol.

I have to save money to buy firecrackers for New Year's Eve

There are only a paid of dlcs I wouldn't mind having while playing with rpg maker, so not worth it for me. :S

I kinda want to get tier 2 to make gibs. :x
I already have rpgmaker and most of the dlc in the first 2 tiers, but tier 3 is too expensive.
Also I don't know if I will ever get around to learning how to use it.

it's basically a "Buy RPG Maker MV and get everything else for free" bundle
most (if not all) other stuff was bundled already
