I was doing some research and may have gotten a little distracted. Here's some really cool science articles that I thought were interesting. Temperatures below absolute zero Explanation in people terms and a reminder that Quantum Superposition exists. A recent study has also discovered a new quantum principal. Thanks for listening, science portion of SG! I hope you didn't learn too much.

I'll keep things simple, these are the matters that blow my mind and make me ask myself a lot of questions :

Age of the universe

Shape of the universe

Nice articles. I'm disappointed that they don't clarify which gas went to a sub absolute zero temperature.

Anyways, thanks for reminding us the Quantum Superposition of potato hasn't changed.

Makes sense. They are always playing with hydrogen. I wonder what company, or country made the discovery?

Does sci-fi counts? Because I've been writing some fucked up theories about traveling between dimensions, and other crap like that.
But hey, if we don't know if it exists, it's still science, right?
...Right?
Raging scientists stare at jbond threateningly

I like to think of science as a library of knowledge. In that library there are both fact and fiction. Fiction is aimed at guessing what could be out there, and how it could work. Whilst fact , shows what is happening, and how it's happening.
So yes, not knowing something existing is still science, as long as you're predicting or guessing what it is.

Nice, nice.
I personally don't believe what I can't prove, but I do enjoy talking/writing about how the world COULD be, even if it's highly unlikely.

Good enough for me. If there weren't dreamers out there, we'd still be in the stone age. As long as black science man doesn't get mad,I think you're safe.

Then again, I doubt anyone would be interested in my one-and-a-half page theories about dimensions-leaping. :P

So, science thread withouth Neil deGrasse Tyson? I approve! :)

Here is some nice example of science on the verge of 'magic' for us with IQ above 130 but so much below the real smart guys.. :)

I'm actually not a huge fan of his. He seems too intent on shutting other people down for my liking, like maybe he has a slight superiority complex. I like michio kaku much better personally.

That is my point, with all due respect, I don't like him as well. My favourite is Bill Nye, and of course Carl Sagan brings up a lot of great memories.. :)
