The answer to your question is right in this link you're giving. But I'm not sure how much I trust that result as you still had to ask even though the answer is right in that link.

I mis-read your text (being a tired non native speaker) and was commenting on another issue. After reading your text again I noticed my mistake.

SRI I guess, we just never called it that. It was just a reading test that we had t take for some reason that meant absolutely nothing and had no retaliative scale so we never mentioned it besides the day we took it, and that wasn't enough time for use to care what it was called and just referred to it as a "reading test"

Is it a ministerial test, dunno if it's the right word, I mean a test compulsory for everyone attending school administrated by the country?
If it's a test whose only meaning is for the Ministry of education to know how "smart" or how much did children study it could be the same of what we call "Prove Invalsi" in Italy.

It's an optional standardized test provided by the Scholastic company, but a lot of schools use them to determine students reading level.

'tis indeed American judging by the "first/second graders" bit (I can never remember what ages any of those US grades are supposed to be)

He knows, in the link he posted as a reply to someone it mentions what are the results per grade. If this is true it's just a humblebrag.

Did you notice the second part of his question? Some people like to see how thier results compare to others because a number with "you did well" attached to it doesn't really mean much.

He could've just ask that question. But I guess I'm just being to cranky and I apologize for that.

I genuinely think that a 1200 isn't that great. To be honest I don't read that much either so getting not that great of a score is kinda going to happen. I hate going to libraries and I genuinely want to know what reading scores other people got, Its not like reading is based off intelligence anyways.

Isn't this worth asking your teacher?

[silliness]my Spontaneous Remembering Idiocy scored a massive 42 but that's because I was docked points for forgetting the time somebody robbed a store while still wearing his work uniform and ID[/silliness]

From your own link:
High School Proficiency Levels
Ninth-graders should ideally be between 1000 and 1200 hundred to be considered proficient with scores above 1200 considered Advanced Proficient.
