Yeah, I can't keep a regular sleep pattern. Sometimes I can wake up early for a week, then there will be a night where I will not be able to sleep, and I'll spend the next week staying up at night and sleeping during the day, until I manage to fall asleep at night again

Steam recommends me hard tag too :) And I just completed The Binding of Isaac for 100% today :D Will continue playing FLY'N which I won from you. So don't think that I forgot about it :) For me it's just the type of game which should be played irregularly, from time to time.
I think my unhealthy behaviours are procratination and bad day regime. I can forgot to eat or go to bed in the morning without any particular reason :(

Also, (mentally) unhealthy behavior #1: giving up too quickly on mentally challenging tasks if they're not up my alley. Like this puzzle. Taken two minutes to type in Q1-6 and to try 15 different answers for Q7 -> given up. Easily frustrated with that kind of stuff. Luckily, it's different with problems that are in my field (economics, sociology and geography)
2: sleeping too much in weird rhythms, like in a day that could be from 2 - 7 am, 10am - 11am, again from 4-7pm and 8-10pm or something, if it's a "bad" day. Also sleeping on/in weird places, like on pipelines, guard railings, sharp rocks, edges of cliffs, whereever it's sunny.
3: and definitely the most annoying: biting the skin of my fingers under stress until I bleed. This happend every time I feel severly bored or anxious. Like in exams, my left thumb's in my mouth, my right hand writes down stuff...

Hey, then I'm still good with my 6-6.5 hours of sleep. Although I do not drink coffee or tea. Have to compensate by sheer willpower and I'm not sure how much longer my body will handle this. Technically I'm in a good shape so I should still have some time ^^

There are plenty of them really. Good luck on your thesis by the way! I have a friend that's working on one at the moment (although it's an undergraduate thesis). Just out of curiosity, what discipline is it in?

I'm not too concerned about your "need" because you say it happens rarely, yet I acknowledge a problem and you do too.
I hope you'll find another way to recover your serenity.

I'm currently finishing a math exercise sheet for tomorrow's computer science lecture.

Edit: Welp, seems to a mistake on my side only two of the three giveaways are still running.
So I have a lot of frustration with my PhD Thesis not working out as I wish (although I made good progression this year). And I have few possibilty to take it out somewhere. I just can't shout at people or be more of a dick then I am already. One should think I could let some steam off with playing games but I have the tendency to buy and play games which are sometimes annoyingly hard (to the extent that Steam suggest the tag "Hard" for me .....).
Sometimes once a year I'm loosing my temper so much that I "need" some kind of pain to calm down again and I bit myself (leaving a mark). I know this is not healthy and I'm not asking for advice. I'm more or less normal most of the time but sometimes those games are just messing with you. To the actual question. Do you have some kind of unhealthy behaviour (like sleeping not enough, don't we all) in your live or bad habits (like throwing something on the wall or even hurting yourself like me in this case)? Again the most time I am normal and calm but sometimes it all gets a little bit too much.
Also since there was a Summer Sale and I somehow pressed this as puzzle I will give you one. Let your rage out on math and start shouting numbers! (CV-Level 2+)
Feel free to give an answer to the actual topic or just bump it. Also don't share hints and solution and bla.
PS: I should go back to work on my guide -_- Somehow it is larger than i thought
