To be honest, I didn't even try. I'm focusing on the train of madness for now. :P

If nobody has been able to solve it yet, I highly doubt I will amount to anything. :) And I'm not interested in the game, so this is time I should be spending on the train of madness. :P

Looks like maybe some sort of mathematical cipher? Believe me, Besiege is a juicy prize to work for. I'll probably chip away at it but I'm not sure I've got what it takes to figure it out. I dove into puzzles this week and being a newbie I'm a bit burnt out already.

Well ... can't speak for others, but the prize was definitely not the problem ... but when I first read this puzzle, it took me all of 2 seconds to react with "yeah, I'm intrigued, but this will take time, and ... nope, not now". ... but I do have an idea, and I will return when I have some time to try it out. For now, have the bump I "owe" you since that first visit :P

Ok, Group stuff.
I immediately thought I recognized the cipher. The "I declare my independence!" pointed me towards the Declaration of Independence, which is a part of some movie plots and the text used in the Beale Cipher.
The Beale Cipher uses numbers to point at words in the Declaration, from those words you use the first letter to create a message.
Here is an encoder/decoder and the text of the Declaration
It got me nowhere and from what Nordhbane has said it seems to be the right direction but still pretty far off track :P
What got my attention next is the repetition in the numbers. It looks very artificial.

The giveaway has ended but the puzzle still stands.
So, I've got other wild ideas.
Like there are 80 pairs, which (if these pairs are "word+letter") make 40 "somethings".
And when I see 40 "somethings" it's usually 8bits 5 times (binary ascii code for giveaway code).
Which can be constructed for example with "0" for vowels, "1" for consonants.
As far as I remember the giveaway was added later, so probably this is not the case.

Seeing as I could actually reuse the puzzle exactly as it is, and just add new GA's to it, I will not reveal the secret. I can change it if I want though using the same method, it's rather fluid in its design and easily managable. I think it's a good and hard puzzle that could very well serve as a final puzzle in a longer puzzle train. You are free to try and crack it though, and I encourage you to do it. :)

I want to declare my independence from puzzles by stating that I'm not at all addicted to them. For that reason I've created a puzzle.
For the first person to solve the code I will create a wallpaper,to the best of my abilities using 2D or 3D, based on a subject of the winners choosing. For example, Yorick and Braum from League of Legends was two requests I got a while ago and I created 1 UP and Tardis for my brother.Deadline for First to Solve bonus: Sunday 29 november.Group Puzzle Rules:
