You should try this one..it's called Murtabak Maggi (Maggi is actually a brand that produces instant noodles..but whatever, it's the name that sticks onto ppls' minds I guess), especially if you got some instant noodles hanging around. It's fairly easy. You can even do this without the minced beef or the veges. This recipe is perfect when you're tired of eating instant noodles the normal way.

as a college student that lives alone you would think that i am tired of eating instant noodles... though i hardly ever eat them and really quite feel like eating some right now... so maybe i will give this a try

Ingredientes:
Ingredients:
Peel and chop the onion with the garlic into small pieces and fry them in a pan with olive oil.
Chop pumpkin into dices and the chicken breast fillets into strips. Add them to the pan when the onion and garlic are golden brown and remove slightly.
When the chicken begins to get color add the rice and then water and salt and stir.
Cover it, stirring occasionally to prevent the rice to stick.
When water is consumed add the curry sauce and let it cook.

Maybe Quiche Lorraine or perhaps Chilli con carne. I love to make both and they are really both tasty and rather simple :) (I use different recipe for both, this was just an example)

Well, I posted this a while ago:
This is what I made today
For this dish you need:
1kg minced meat
50g of mixed fresh herbs, I used thyme, basil, parsley
A generous pinch of ground black pepper
1dl water
8 dl vegetable broth
4dl of bulgur
A pinch of saffron
1dl of black olives (seedless)
~100g of pickled bell pepper (chopped)
½ cucumber (diced)
120g cherry tomatoes
Some balsamic vinegar (fake is fine here)Start by mixing the herbs, black pepper, minced meat & water together. Mix it well, you don't want clumps of herbs anywhere, instead make sure that it is spread evenly through the meat. Make between 12-15 "balls" out of it, and put them in a skillet at medium heat until cooked all the way through, and they have a nice golden brown exterior.
For the bulgur, heat the broth until it starts boiling, add in a pinch of saffron (0.2-0.3g). Then add the bulgur to it and let it sit for 20min (this step can be prepared ahead of time). Put the cherry tomatoes in a skillet and heat them until they start getting mushy. Pour some balsamic vinegar over them and add them to the bulgur. Now add the diced cucumber, olives and bell pepper to the bulgur as well. Serve with some Greek yoghurt.
Overall, I have to say that I'm very happy with this dish. It was easy enough to make, and it tasted great. Next time I think I'll have a bit less broth though, maybe ½dl less.
So that's my suggestion!

i utterly HATE olives, specially black ones. i could make it withouth them though :P

I'm really pissed beacause I wrote a whole lot and then my window closed
I had a good recipe for cheeseburger pie but I lost it. This one looks alright.
Also, if you make spaghetti, I'd suggest adding red wine to it, like in this recipe
Sorry I don't really have anything, I don't normally cook with recipes, plus I lost my pack of recipes.
