So, I'm going to be an uncle (GA inside)

My cousin just gave birth last month, which was the first child born in our extended family. Not as cool as being an uncle, but my time will come soon (older brother just got married).

Congrats, hopefully he/she won't be an asshole when they grow up. :D

Cool. I have two small nephews... and my youngest cousin is 25 years younger then me... I like kids, esp. the ones like nephews that you can return to a parent if they get cranky etc ;)

The closest thing to a little one in my family is my second cousin recently having her first child. My family has been steadily shrinking in numbers since the early 90's, and this was the first one to come out since.

I'm an uncle to a little girl and an uncle + a godfather to a boy and it's fun :P Last few months I lived with them, so I've learned a bit of this and that for the opportunity of having kids myself :P

Congratulations! Being an aunt/uncle is a wonderful thing. You can spoil them and get them riled up and filled with sugar and then pawn them back to your brother/sister. I know payback will be in order some day, but I just love it. :)

Congrats! The only little kids in my family (well, the family that I sometimes talk to) are just some of my cousins. One of my aunts just had her 5th child three weeks ago, and she's planning on having another. I'm just sitting here like:

I'm also a uncle! My sis has a 4y/o boy and she's now pregnant again! Joy to the house! And mess, and poop, and "I don't wanna sleep", and headaches. All worth it tho!

Last week I was talking with my nephew on the phone about Sonic. Yes, Sonic. He's a gamer ^^(I was genually happy to talk with him about something that I know rather than Thomas, the train).
