I first bought BF3, realized I didn't like it, got MW3 and then BO2. Ghosts seems really bad. Didn't buy it, not gonna buy it, not gonna play it. I don't like it. BF3 is OK but I wanted more fast-paced and destruction but I guess I got used to it. I'm now backing off the COD though...

Destructoid's 5/10 review was by Jim Sterling, who is a massive COD fanboy. (He gave Modern Warfare 3 a 10/10, and MW3 was a mess.)
Game sites don't seem to be covering complaints of frame rate issues on the Xbox One and PC versions of the game. Or covering the apparent removal of offline 4 player splitscreen? (I say apparent, because I don't know for sure, because I haven't played any version of the game, and can only go by non-game site reports that say the various versions of the game top out at 2 player local. Some people don't like 4 player splitscreen, but it has been a part of Call of Duty since COD2.)

In the PC section, right away two of the reviewers are like "Buy the best BF4!". I wouldn't put much stock into the user reviews...

I go to the Most Helpful reviews. All of them on every console are negative and of the 15-20 reviews I read, not one mentioned BF4.
Kinda glad the reviews are negative. Maybe IW will realize that it's pretty useless and that Treyarch should really be the only CoD devloper. But Activision wouldn't allow it, because then they wouldn't release a CoD game every year. -Sigh- What greed can do to prevent innovation...

Watched gameplay videos today, heard the lets players say "omggg best geim so nois graphics". looks exactly the same as all the previous games, except now it apparently needs at least 6 gigabytes of ram for no graphical or gameplaywise improvement.

I was wondering the same thing, but if you ask other users you either get haters that didn't even try it or fanboys that claim it is the best game out there. Metacritic user scores are really sad because you have bunch of people rating it 0 with no other reviews (probably one person created multiple accounts)... I also believe that game can't get 10 or 0, because that would mean it is either unreachably perfect or really horrible which is impossible.

What is bad about the CoD games? Not the franchise, but the games? The multiplayer is addicting, and while the campaign is short, it can still be fun. I mean, it's your standard FPS, but with soooooo many game modes to choose from. Frankly, it's worth your $60. Unless you buy a CoD every year. You really should just wait every 2-4 years before buying the next CoD (because no one likes both IW and Treyarch, and $60 a year isn't worth it anyways)

Tell that to Activision, MW1 and 2 are 25 € each, the newest games in the series are still 60 €

What is bad?? Simple, they recycled every single thing that made CoD 4 good, but proceeded to repeat the formula every single time since MW2, with no innovation, no new features, no real new stuff to justify the 60 € new release price tag.

Generic story (american soldiers saviors of the world vs russian bad guys), unprecise gunplay, bad graphics, short duration.
Multiplayer from MW2 onwards is crap. No dedicated servers, full of cheaters, no admins whatsoever, worst netcode EVER.
EACH game in the series suffers from this. And next time, don't call me an "ignorant fool" just because I didn't reply what you wanted. Be respectful.
