Aerena - Clash of Champions free from May 7

I heard in one steam group (can't find it now) that Aerena - Clash of Champions will be free from may 7. Is it true?
Now it is clear why arena launch trading cards.

From what I've read it seems that the activation key / gift would upgrade the free-to-play version to a "deluxe" edition. But i don't know for sure.

so, if you activated for EA, you get nothing, but activating now gives Deluxe? Sounds really unfair IMO

as i said, i don't know for sure. all i know is that it gives a few features as if it was a "thank you" pack. also, some of the users didn't receive anything at all.

Having activated it way back when, I have an "AERENA Base Founder's Package" DLC. No idea what it does, but the forums seem to claim that it's the Starter Pack DLC plus a little bit extra.

if you get some extras besides the free-to-play content, then yes. even so, the game is already marked with the "*" ... so the giveaway maker won't receive the full contributor value.
