There hasn't been any more beta giveaways for quite a long time now, I assume that cg doesn't accept them anymore.

Steam gifts should implement a rules for developer and distributor that all games being given away should stayed in a user account and not beta keys. where it will expired afterward.

Yes, this PSA is mainly for common users of the website.

Why don't SG just remove these old beta key giveaways from profiles?
ETA: As I understand it, dev giveaways are/were often in large quantities so they shouldn't be too hard to track down.

People should just stop calling out in general. It's against the rules and there's a reason for it. Also, the whole thing about stalking other people's profiles and blacklisting for every single little offense they can find is ridiculous in the first place.
If you have a freaking problem with someone, report and move on. That's all there is to it. The admins are the only ones with enough power to obtain proof and make final decisions. I've seen so many people start their own little witch hunts when people SEEM to break rules. Well guess what? It's your job to detect suspicious activity and report it, but it's not your job to judge. We have support for that.

I thought I read somewhere that it is against the rules to create giveaways with beta keys.

Yep, there used to be beta key giveaways from developers only.

We can add special tags to giveaways on SGv2 (in case of Alpha, Beta, etc), so I marked the Tryst giveaway and a handful of other developer giveaways with a beta tag so they're more clear.

I did not know that beta games could get removed from the account! Good to know.

I just wanted to give everyone here a quick reminder that some developer giveaways in the past gave away beta keys. Obviously, after the game left beta state, the game would be removed from the user's Steam account.
Now, that means that if you view a Steamgifts profile, you may see a giveaway for a game, then check the user's Steam profile and realize that they do not have the game on Steam. This can give you the impression that the user didn't activate his win, and that they are a rule breaker.
This has just recently happened in another thread here, OP was falsely accused of not activating a won game, Tryst, which was a beta keys giveaway here on Steamgifts.
My point is, I feel bad for whoever gets falsely accused of breaking rules, resulting in bad reputations and blacklists adds. So before blacklisting a user for not activating their wins, make sure you've researched the matter a bit. If you aren't sure, you can always contact support about it.
Oh, and here's a little something for taking the time to read this post.
Cheers! :D
