Games are added to the bundle list with the date they were considered bundled for the first time. All giveaway that end after this date get a bundle status, even if the game is added to the list much later. You can not mix the date a game is added to the bundle list and the date a game got bundled.
There is only 1 person working on the bundle list, so it may take some time for him to add a game.
Search the forum for further information. It has been discussed many times.

Steamgifts bundles games faster than steam is releasing them. :B Yep, I know, it's sad. Even if it gets bundled after 2 years, it still affects you.

What? o.O But it affected me when a game got bundled, even though my giveaway had ended.

This is my point......I give this game 1 month ago and my proposal was that when a game is added to bundle to change his value on steam gift for all the GA created after that game is added to bundle NOT to all GA created (even for those created before the bundle).

Giveaways created before the bundle date are safe.
Say a game is bundled on the 6th and added to the list on the 10th.
The only thing that can effect all giveaways for a game is the price changing.

ok, thank you for this information. I didn't know this :)
I checked on sqtools and now I saw it :
Game Name Bundled effective since Added to bundle list on
Chivalry: Complete Pack Jun 16, 2015 Oct 21, 2015
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Jun 16, 2015 Oct 21, 2015

third of the series "anything can be bundled any time and be marked with any date retroactively" rule today.
I really should start a thread to people gamble how many will it be til weekend...

What other people said. you have to count for the date that game got bundled
you can always check your real cv with: http://www.sgtools.info/

Best way to avoid this is not to rely your CV points on just one good deal. Diversify your giveaways.
Deals are great, but don't think of them as a way to make your CV better. Think of them as an opportunity to give away a good game for a lower price, because in this way everybody wins.

you tried to cheat the system and got slapped on your wrists - tough luck ;p one copy would be just bad luck - you bought a game, it got bundled, you lost CV, I could understand. 4 copies over extended time was just concious getting advantage of CV system. So serves you well.

It's not "Cheating" the system if it's within the rules. The CV system is deliberately set to award full CV for first 5 copies of same game, then gradually decreasing to prevent abuse. Similarly its common knowledge that non-bundled games on sale for 90% or below count for full CV. Some people game the system because they want to maximize their gains when using the site. Levelling up in a cheap manner is part of that strategy. Others can disagree, but it's still legit.

yes, you are right. but OP did not buy the ROW game - OP kept buying strangely enough just one single RU/CIS game that is 72% cheaper in RU region, so he was paying less than 3% of the base price of Cv he was gaining - so discount way above bundled 95%.

Well, don't get mad at him for giving Chivalry out. I think that if the game IS GOOD, have a good deal, and plus you can get a few extra CV points, it doesn't hurt anyone.
But of course, with the 4-pack, I think it was not balanced and add it to the bundle list was the right choice. Getting 2 levels for a 4-pack is wayyy too much.

Just out of curiosity, was there a price glitch for Chivalry or something? Since I do not remember it being in a bundle or 90% off.
e: oh darn, the complete collection I bought this weekend with 80% is bundled too. That is a second time I got screwed like that. >.>, well, tough luck.

Its because of the 4-pack. The 4-pack costs the price of 2 Chivalrys on sale. The sale was 80%, irrc.

There is no 4-pack for Deadliest Warrior or Chivalry Complete as far as I know though. Not that I mind the CV drop that much, though I got it for group to keep my ratio cool and dunno how it's value is going to be considered now, but whatever. :F
E: Nvm, Lowest price: 2,29€ (90% off), Recorded 4 months ago on Steam; my bad for buying it through client rather than through web with enchanced steam.

Oh, I thought you was asking because of the OP.
But yeah, saw your edit, everything was 80%, even complete package.
Normally they only add to the bundled list games that were 90%+, but in this case I think they added it because it was 80% AND it had a 4-pack, because the 4-pack is like 50% itself. ;_;

TL:DR; Do "NOT" gift any Steam game that has seen a 90% on Steam Store. Since sooner or later due to Russian regional discount (90% >> 95+%) it will end up in bundle list.

Last night was on lvl 4 , in this morning direct to lvl 1 :((( . i know why , beacause Mediaval game was added to a bundle, but is it correct?
Because I give this game before entering to the bundle so normally the value of the game should remain at a certain value until is added to a bundle and when the game is added to a bundle all the GA created after that to be with the new price of the bundle.
What do you think?
