I like how to the point this is. For people like me who've never used Bluetooth or other controllers before, maybe you could go into more detail about how that stuff works? (^w^)

That sounds nice. That could be another video. Thank you Heeroo! :]

Manually set your focus instead of using auto-focus. Also, you may want to re-record the V.O. in a room with less echo.

Other than that, it looks great

I was using a Dual Camera setup. Canon DSLR set to manual focus for the side shots and Sony RX-100 with AF for overhead shots.

I couldn't be standing at both the cameras at the same time so I let one of them be set to Auto focus. Plus RX-100 does not have fine manual focus control when it comes to video even though its a expensive camera T_T

Re-recording V.O is a good tip. Right now the audio was recorded during the video shoot itself using a Lavalier mic connected to a Zoom H1. I also have a Blue Yeti microphone which could be used next time for a better audio.

Thank you! :]

  • i think your logo makes it look like LECHZEI instead of TECHZEI, idk but that's my opinion
  • probably shouldnt have had the bluetooth setup scene over the main video from 0:30 - 0:44. the video in the background also changes angles after the random 0:34-0:36 gap
    • better just use black fill at the screen recording scene.
  • the transition at 0:58 could be better
  • i also think there could have been less camera angle changes
not an expert but just my thoughts

Thank you for your valuable inputs! :]

  1. Logo, I've been using that logo for more than 4 years. It's not just an YouTube channel, it's a website! - techzei.com :D
  2. Oh yeah, I noticed those edges of the video in the frame after exporting it. I'll make sure it does not happen next time!
  3. 0:58 - definitely, will try something else for sure!
  4. Will try to reduce the amount of camera angle changes, this is like my 2nd or 3rd video with a two camera setup so I'm still learning different creative ways and angles to shoot the content from! :D

I thought it's LECHZEI as well, which I found weird since the name of the channel is TECHZEI. It just doesn't make any sense for that to be the "T". Like this it reads as "L", if you flip it then it's an "F". It seems like you wanted it to be flipped half T but that doesn't make any sense.

Already built the brand online and offline so cannot make the switch now! Plus it was supposed to be a logo designers choice of using the "t"

The video is short and concise, which is nice. Easy to understand, easy to follow. But as someone above me said, you may want to re-record the voiceover because it sounds distant from the microphone. That means we, the viewers, have to turn up our volume even more in order to catch what he's saying.

I may have reduced the volume a lot more than I thought. I shall work on improving that in the next video! Thank you for the inputs! :]

I found the volume was fine. Maybe it's the accent or the echos.
Everybody has different audio equipment so it may be an issue for some more than others.

Everyone already gave pretty great advises about the video modding, i think it was pretty good short but informative.. However, one thing that you guys can improve in your video's is the voiceovers. Try to improve your pronunciation, try to talk with a bit less accent. your friends accent is pretty heavy to me. I know sure its hard. But if you have big goals, like winning people from all over the world, its a good thing to work on.

(btw my english pronunciation is shitty as well so i know how it is. The logo looks really like LECHZEI in the video like PlayDish said.. change that AND keep the videos coming! dont give up after a few videos)

Hey! Thanks for the input! I will try getting the whole V.O part figured out. I would be shooting again next week so I'll try something new.

His accent was okay. He sounds indian, but definitely not a bad accent. Some native Britons are much worse :)

Nice vid, although i dont own either a mac or a ps controller :).
That blue tinge in the video, is that an effect or is it due to light? Eitherway it is good. To me the sound volume sounded perfectly fine. Good luck !

Yes. It's due to a light. Behind the camera, there is a violet light setup. :P

The vid was good and definitely had a professional feel. The echo was a bit too much. If possible hang up curtains slightly away from the wall to muffle the reflections or cushions. The only major thing that was distracting to me was when the pad was shown and you could barely see the action on the screen (1:40 mark).
Otherwise, purple wallpaper? :D

Thank you! I will definitely work up a solution for the echo.

Purple is from the lighting that was setup at the back :D
