(psss psss, Mexico's independence day is not 5 de mayo)

I must add Free in the tittle.

While in Mexico we celebrate the begun of the independence 16/Sep/1810, our independence ended 27/Sep/1821 (waiting for the spaniard king Ferdinand VII to reign), and recognized from the spaniard crown and after some tries to reconquer it, until 28/Dec/1836 the queen Isabella II of Spain formally recognizes the independence.

(The prehispanic era, New Spain and formally Mexico is sadic, sad with lots of blood and is more about power, but the official history is boring and doesn't include about the grey secrets of our "national heroes")

Central America composed by Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Celebrate the independence 15/Sep/1821, annexed territories to the first Mexican empire in 15/Jan/1822, later on 1/July/1823 central america declared absolute independence (here i guess Mexico stole lands from Guatemala).

Just follow the story about the history.

This are level 2+

No train for this, the train was introduced in MX until 1837, but you can take a diligence or horse to travel here.

Nobody worries for reading this.

Cómo está la mecánica? Creamos GAs privados con restricción regional y te los pasamos en este thread o cómo es la cosa?

I live in CA, USA and I always found it funny how everyone got all crazy over 5 de mayo. It was just a battle with the french, and Although not a major strategic win in the overall war against the French it did help rally the people. Now it's used as a reason to drink.

Here is like any other day, we don't ever drink, well, is a day of rest only. Becomes one celebration because they could win a battle against the mighty french empire (and they come back later with more cannons, troops and stuff). France wanted to entry US territory and used us as pretext, and in the process win an american territory.

Those tacos actually look quite tasty, unlike most pictures I see of them.

(I enjoy pretend tacos once a month myself, but at least I don't use those silly hard taco shell things...)

Never, i repeat never go again to Taco Bell, that's a thing without flavor, find some taqueria or some mexicans, and ask for mexican food (bring beer). Once a guy in London and other in Germany told me they got tacos from her mexican friends.

Fortunately, we don't have Taco Bell in my country (Scotland).

On the other hand, I've never even met a Mexican...
