Is it still worth installing and playing (I never got around to it, game is HUGE and my Internet is very slow), or should I forget about it and go to Legends right away?
Edit: Looks like I can't even, as the Steam version will just be replaced with Legends. Bummer. (The old installer is still available from their website, apparently.)

Character lvls do not transfer, everyone starts fresh.
Story is the same, just free (including all the special issues)
Transfer gives you back your pets/clothes/run items from original game as long as you have them redeemed on at least one active character (there was a name wipe so I would suggest logging into original to change names on characters - claiming them as active). Also should transfer any premium money/time left on acc (including lifetime sub)
Special bonus for transferring - 2 bonus character slots, unlocked all weapons and all starter class outfits.

You'll get easier choice on how you want to build your character. Say you want a build that's not a choice in starter class builds, you pick any starter class and then change the weapon as soon as you can claim the bonus.
But that's it. Rest is vanity items and extra character slots.

I have an unredeemed key for "The Secret World" from a bundle that has the same steam URL as this "Legends" thing.
I thought it looked pretty good so I bought the "The Secret World: Ultimate Edition" when it went on sale a couple months later..

Does it say anywhere if/what are the differences between them?

Does anyone know if I will I lose out on anything, like the bonus character slots and starter outfits, if I wait until the Steam Release to do the transfer (which is listed as July 31) ?

Also I am confused whether the clothing rewards for the skill sets on the ability wheel transfer over and I'm wondering if its worth it to complete them before I transfer or are all of those considered the Faction Uniforms ?

If you transfer your character ( 1 only ) you will get 3 slots in total, you will retain all outfits you added to your dressing room, you should do it as soon as you can to be safe, and get your name saved up.
For the skill set, you start from 0, but retail stuff from achievs and such, i was surprised i still had my Taco hat :D

codes sent out - got mine this morning - altho when I activated it claimed i got 1 of every weapon - i can only claim 1 per char. If thats the case that's pretty awesome since i was under the impression that i could only get the 1 i used the ritual for.
