You might have seen my number topics here several days before. Thank you for your comments and sorry for not replying to them. I wanted to create some kind of intrigue and hype in such way :) Some of you guessed that it was a countdown. SO WE WILL ALL DIE NOW, MUAHAHAHAHA! No. We won't. At least most of us won't die in the nearest future.

The countdown was dedicated to my graduation.
3 days ago I had a defence of my thesis.
2 days ago I was closing different formalities.
1 day ago I was on the ceremony and received my master diploma! And level 2 coincidentally ^_^

So now I'm no more a student :( (luckily it doesn't make me to change my nick like in case with Student123 :D). It's a sad and happy event at the same time. On the other hand I'm planning to go for PhD, so soon I will be a student again! But of course it won't be the same.

It was a long and very diverse experience. 6 years. Can you remember yourself 6 years ago? That's a huge amount of time. About 6 years ago was released the first version of Android. Also when I only started my education I didn't even have the laptop (hello, 2009). Things were much different in many many ways.

These years were probably the best in my life. But there were surely the worst among them too.

So I created a small train [ended] to celebrate this. Feel free to take your sits :)

Maximum level requirement: Level 1
End time: Saturday, 20 June 2015, 20:00:00 (GMT+3)

There is something special for my whitelist. It will run for about two weeks in order for everyone to see it.

Also I created the puzzle. It's a rather hard one, but I believe that you can solve it! Everyone who solves it will get whitelisted :) I recommend you to use http://wikimapia.org/ while solving it. By clicking on the interested object you'll see the coordinates of it under the description. I have taken the coordinates of objects from there.
Because it looks really hard for me at the moment, I'll add some hints later if there are no winners. Actually there are some hints already :P

You are indeed correct. It's all downhill from here. Sorry to have to be the one to confirm your suspicions.

I was just kidding...mostly (hehe). Lots of good years ahead, but nothing quite like college/university.

I didn't say that it's all going worse. My life isn't over yet, so there could be better times :)
And yeah, life experience changes greatly with time.

Congratulations, CrystalGamer! It's always awesome to finally reap the rewards of all of your hard work! :D

There's no need to be pessimistic at all, though, as "best" is such a subjective word, and there's so much to experience and enjoy in every phase of your life! :D

(Awesome train descriptions and images, by the way!)

Thank you! I'm happy that you don't change the nick. It's already quite famous on SG and reminds me about Student's distribution :)

I didn't expect this from audio enthusiast :) I thought you're more of technician specialization. Good luck with your upcoming graduation!

Well I've been working in a technical field for over 5 years (building, repairing and selling PCs) but I was never really interested in studying in a technical field, since geography was my passion since age 5 :D
Also math and physics have always been my worst subjects at school, so there wouldn't have been much of a point studying something in that way. Even in geography, I have to struggle with simpler mathematics and physics lol. Only thing I would've liked to study was mastering and audio engineering, (to go with the enthusiasm) but, at least in germany, those subjects are pay-to-study at private universities and often don't lead to a good job afterwards, so a very unsafe environment. I chose free education and something I believe to be good at while also finding a job after finishing either my bachelors or (maybe to come) masters

6 years? Medicine?

Permalink

No. Why must it be medicine? As I know 6 years (4 years for bachelor + 2 years) is a usual length of education to get master (magister) diploma in Eastern Europe.

Ok, just thought it was without masters (plus, there are some medical institutions close to the place in the puzzle - thought it might be related).

No, that's just a beautiful place I've discovered recently :) My current institute is far from there but in the same city. While other places from puzzle are rather close to my university.

I don't want to give too much away. I just looked for any features in the picture that might help me find which city it was, and then used wikimapia from there. :)

Thank you! You must have a good memory and that's cool. Believe me, time passes very quickly. Don't be in a hurry to leave the uni :)
Also, did you start your study in winter? Is it a common situation in your country?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Time should be passing by quickly but it seems to be dragging right now. Luckily, my exams just ended so I get a little relief. Yeah, my session started in January. It's only common if you're applying for a medical profession. All medical and pharmaceutical universities start in January while engineering and business universities start in the summer.
