If you're gona play a multiplayer game, always choose the latest one.

I know, but all the good DLCs are in that one. The map packs and stuff are not really needed, and neither are those newer dlcs like Chivalry

Think of it more like World of WarCraft: it's not pay-to-win, but pay-an-asston-to-play-more-than-2%-of-the-game.

PAYDAY: The Heist doesn't make you feel like you're missing out on 90% of the content if you don't buy all their DLCs, so I'd pick that.

But the game came with a good amount of content at launch, and there's been plenty of free content updates as well as payed DLC, so I don't see how the payed DLC is actually a bad thing in this case.

I'm not saying that you're short on content without the DLC, but you miss out on most of it without paying and it really makes you feel that you're missing out on the experience.

well...the last game is a dlc fest, so...is really bad because of that, but both have a nice gameplay, are fun with friends...i would say, choose the game depending if you have friends to play it, if you have them, choose the first, if you not, choose the second one...at least i think that

I think of PD:TH as of beta version of PD2. It's fun to play but weapons have quite bad feel to them.

i am enjoying payday 2. Its a good game. Just prepare to but a few dlc from the begin. ( In the sale they cost ~1β¬ each)
