That is an old regift. Hate that Support is limited when it comes to removing that stuff.

If you activated the games on your account, you can try the key, and if you get 'duplicate', it's not activated yet. If you get 'already activated', well, then, you know.
It's only my conjecture, but you won't activate keys twice, that's for sure.

If you try to activate a key for a game you already own, it will show you the message that you already own the game no matter if the key is still valid or not.

Well
If you already activated one set, you could try activating the other?

If it's the Namco Bandai bundle, you can run them past me too. I just redeemed those.

Steam needs to implement a feature to input a key and it tells you if its been redeemed or not.

What do THEY need it for? They don't care for trading them inside the community, or more like against it.

Because both Uplay and Origin have this?

How's that prove that Steam needs one?

Because maybe Steam could actually maybe possible quite likely care about its loyal customers?

they already showed that they only care about themselves, and each year that passes it gets more obvious. -_-

UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE RIGHT.

Or maybe people could just keep track of their own codes and what they've redeemed.

If you want to give them away, you can provide both keys from the bundles to the receiver and tell them to try which one works.

You could try to trade them for something. If you state that you're not sure if they work or not, I guess you won't get any problems if you go first.

then anyone trading with him will claim it was duplicate no matter if it worked or no ;)

You can check the user's profile :D I don't think that scammers would be that smart to say, that "it will be for my friend"

ohhh, aren't you a naive one :D: your faith in your fellow humans is kinda sweet :D:

Sarcasm aside - scamers won't activate the key on the account they are scamming you with. Heck - most of the times they will not even try to scam you with their main account, not to risk bad rep or even ban on their main. They will contact you from an alt/scam account, while having their main account (or other alt account if they already have the game on main and for example wan't another copy for cheating in game without risking their main - that's for multi games like CS:GO - or for farming cards) running as well, they receive your key on 6their scam account - activate it on their main or another alt and then will claim that the key didn't work. It will be not visible in their library so you will have no proof against them, heck quite a few people trading leftovers may even think that maybe they really actualy used the key and will believe them and provide them with another one or different one.

if you aren't sure if some keys work, give them to friends (which won't be offended if they don't work xD ),
use them in alt accounts to farm cards (if they game has cards, of course),
dump them here
or just make an unofficial giveaways here in the forums (like telling people to post and them picking a winner with random.org... and say they might not work).

just some ideas as there's no way to check if a key isn't used or not.

If you have 100% sure that the at least one of keys for the same game are not used, just do the giveaways and them give the winners both keys and tell them that only one of them will work.

The core issue is, i want to know which key i used. But thx for the hint.
For example: I bought Syberia in 3 different bundles. One I used for me, but WHICH one.
I cant see the keys i used in my steam library, or ?

Yeah but I have almost sure you cannot do that, but doing what I told could be a solution to the problem of wanting to giveaway the keys.

If you have 2 keys of the same game and know one is used and the other one is not, I don't think the winner will bother to try to activate both for you.

EDIT: I did some research and everyone everywhere tells the same thing: There is no way to check if a key is used or not. :(

if you redeemed to your account you should be able to check the key used.
right click the game in the library section of steam. there should be an option there... but not sure if for all games. try

I see this so many times with people mass buying bundles, they take the time to buy bundles but no time to organize the keys and mark them used or delete them from a list of keys.

Yeah it takes time, but in the long run you will avoid this..

Short answer is no way to find out if they work without giving them to someone to try and then they will own it.

Not all games allow you to see the keys if your lucky and you have some that do then you can check this way,I wish Steam did allow you to see all keys, but i also understand why they do not,as they use that as an extra step in case your account is taken, you can prove its yours by providing keys though this would imply you know the keys,in your case it might not help lol.

Anyhow all i am saying is maybe lesson learned to keep better track of bundle keys and less time buying a ton of them and praying you remember.

As i started to buy bundles, i didn´t know this site.
Now i have holyday and time.
I wanted to giveaway all keys i got twice.
But I dont want to give it to any bots.
Meanwhile I give keys to lvl 1 or higher, if possible.

As long as you know one of the keys works, then i see no issue with doing this,as long as one of them is working.

Though since you made this public you might get someone who may try and use this to take the time to claim the keys do not work even if they do,but i suppose that could happen no matter what.

Higher levels helps stop most of the he abuse, you could also drop keys to your friends,or in a chat from your most loved group or if you know some honest traders, you could trade them for keys that you know will work,I would make sure it someone you can trust and just let them know you have doubles and not sure which key is used and they will let you know if it activates and then you can make a GA of game you exchanged it for.

I was not trying to be rude or anything with my last post so if it came off like that i am sorry,i was just trying to say i see this often with people buying a lot bundles they lose track as a lot sites do not like you check or give you a clue if the key has been used why i am not sure but eh just the nature of things i guess.

As far as level i am not sure how to do that without making a GA on this site.If it was me i would just trade them for games i want or games you can do a GA for

https://steamcommunity.com/groups/TradersGuild

Is where i do most my bundle trading at

Anyhow whatever you decide good luck.

If you are sure you have the keys twice and only used once.
make a GA with one key. if it doesn't work give the winner the other key.. no problem.
you have seven days to give him the keys

if you are not sure if both keys were used. better get some more keys ;)

If you have activated the keys on your account then it's easy, you should try to activate the key on your account and I think you'll have 2 messages:

  • You already own this game
  • This key has already been used

You could also follow TinyPurple advice too!
