It will probably sound like one of the worst solutions but if that's super important for you, I'd just go to your mobile operator and ask for number change, which should they do (usually for no extra charge).
And I know very well that it's stupid, but there's not much you can do, apart from buying new number which is even worse IMHO.

Personally I wouldn't call it a stupid idea, it may very well be my last resort. Sure it would affect my everyday life but I will just have to suck it up. Thank you, Archi!

Sounds like someone "borrowed" your phone number for their own identification purposes. I'm afraid you'll have to follow Archi's advice. P

I can already see how this may cause some people to be judgemental but I do hope to find a helpful folk (after all it's SG :))
So long story short, I have many steam accounts...every one of them has its use. Recently I tried to connect one of them to Steam Mobile Authenticator when I got this error saying: "This phone number is associated with a terms of service violation". (All of my accounts are in good standing both gaming and trading vise. (No vac nor trade ban) I didn't need more I immediately wrote to steam support but nada. My favorite line from their reply: "If you have an unrelated problem, we will be happy to assist you". They also suggested that I go out and buy another phone.
I don't know if I am allowed to printscreen the whole conversation with steam support, but let me know if yes. I leave the mobile ps thingy here just in case.
Anyone encountered anything similar? Any tips?
I'd highly appreciate every positive thoughts.
