Is there a way to eliminate the level restriction from a giveaway? I see the "Change Giveaway Game" support ticket category, but it is not exactly that. "Other" probably covers the case, just it may take too long. The GA has started already, but there is still a week left.
Do you have experience with such issue?

EDIT: based on bobofatt's comment, I will probably create a new GA. Requested a new slot first http://www.steamgifts.com/support/ticket/oWf0e/i-would-like-to-get-an-extra-ga-slot, as I have run out of them.

I don't think support does that...

But you're gonna have to way for one of them to stop by and reply here for a definitive answer, or make a support ticket.

Now I just wait if someone drops by, but at the end I will probably try creating a ticket.

The details of a giveaway cannot be altered after it has started, other than the description. Your only option is to delete and remake the giveaway. However, you will lose giveaway slots.

It is not about the levels, but the fulfilled GA-s.
I can not locate related calculation in the new FAQ, but there is something in the old one http://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/91wob/faqrules-and-guidelines in section "Understanding Feedback".
Deleted GA-s do not return their slots.

Thank you, I should have asked for it earlier then.
As the GA is impossible to find now, deletion is viable after all, just the slots...
Created an "Other" ticket requesting a GA slot (added link above), now I hope for the best.

Say no to absolutes. Water is not rigid.

it's pretty stupid you lose slots for deleting giveaways too. Punishing users for honest mistakes simply because the system behind it's creation is flawed.

There's a confirmation page where you review the details of your giveaway. The user didn't review it, or changed their mind after. How is that a system flaw?

I think he means ppl creating double giveaways, they blame the site for that, but I think it's because they just clicked 2 times on "Confirm GA" because page was no loading. Can you confirm that if you click multiple times in the "confirm GA" button after reviewing it will it create more than 1 GA? or this is not true?

The new site was supposed to be able to prevent duplicate giveaways when users double clicked or clicked multiple times, but it wasn't catching all of them, so he has to re-write that.

If a giveaway is deleted within a certain amount of time after it's creation, like 15 minutes or something, it should not count against anything.

Can't change the giveaway details, as mentioned before.

However, if it's a private giveaway (with 0 entries), there's no reason to delete and lose the slot. The giveaway slot will be opened immediately once the giveaway completes if there are no winners.

I just lost a slot while toying with the GA description and clicking accidentally on the 'Confirm Giveaway' button instead of the 'Edit' one.
One slot lost. Still plenty enough being left. Who cares :)
