I have that same Xeon. It's pretty much an unoverclockable i7-4770 without the Intel GPU. It works great for gaming.

CPU = AMD FX-8350 (stock cooler)
GPU = HIS IceQ X Radeon 7850 2GB
RAM = 8GB (2x4) Kingston Hyper X Blu DDR3 RAM
Hard Drive = Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 rpm
Motherboard = Gigabyte GA-78LMT-USB3
PSU = BeQuiet Pure Power L8 400W
Case = BitFenix Merc Alpha
OS = Windows 7 64 bit
All hooked up top a 40" tv. Cheap wireless keyboard on my lap (Microsoft 800), cheap wireless mouse on the arm of my chair (Logitech M175).
Peripherals = Xbox 360 controller, cheap headset made by Philips (unsure of model)
Upgrading soon = CPU Cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO), PSU (at least 500W, probably more), upgrade to 16GB RAM and maybe some case fans.
Upgrading later in the year = New GPU.

AS you can tell, it's a laptop (more useful for what I need it for, so shut up), and it's fantastic. Can run many of my games at ultra settings, 1080p and 60fps. Although Bioshock infinite can't do ultra 1080p 60fps. It can only give me ultra 1080p 45 fps.

My dad uses the PC, and he doesn't need/want a gaming PC. I did, so I got a gaming laptop. Plus I'm going to college soon, and I'm gonna need a laptop, so it was the best decision.
