I liked the one where vaccines made you magnetic, and then she tried to prove it, and it fell off.
The frogs gay thing actually has some merit. What actually happened was artificial hormones made frogs stop breeding. They didn't start flying flags or wearing assless chaps, but they did become the functional equivalent of gay.

If I remember correctly the article I read said the study found that Toxoplasmosis is overproportionally found among CEOs and deducted that might be the case because the parasite makes the host more likely to take risks. Furthermore I think it also claimed that people with Toxoplasmosis are less prone to altruistic behaviour.
Now a different study found that CEOs (and [among other professions] people in law enforcement) are far more likely to have psychopathic tendencies than the average person.
That's where my Toxopasmosis --> psychopath summary came from ð
Obviously that might just as well be coincidence, not correlation.

Lately with NATO trainings and jets flying around the "chemtrail" conspiracy has resurfaced. I am seeing more and more people ranting how government wants to poison us all, reduce birth, make us sick with a new covid variant so they can pump us full with vaccines which sterilize us and commit genocide against us.
Granted - it is not one conspiracy anymore. Those nutjobs are becoming more sophisticated, they now intertwine 2-3 conspiracies to sound even dumber. Which I never thought would be possible. And whenever you check their profile on facebook (where they do the most ranting obviously) you can see that the person has rarely finished grade school, are unemployed and pretty much look like they are inbred or have been hit in the head repeatedly for 10 years. I literally have no idea how some people can be so obtuse

I had a fun conversation with my aunt in one of the peak covid waves regarding vaccinations (don't remember the numbers, but something around this):
me- Doesn't look good, just last night about 100 people died in hospitals
her- Yeah, those vaccines are killing people and everyone vaccinated is dropping like flies
me- But you know that 95% of those who died were not vaccinated?
her- Yeah, those vaccinated are dying left and right, government wants to kill us
Like full on ignoring whatever is said and just continuing straight forward with her narrative. And in line with this I remember everyone spamming comments and discussions with "anyone vaccinated will die in a year" ...... Since I vaccinated some 2 years have passed I think. Perfectly fine and standing. IF only those people had enough brain power to actually look back and realize what they said. But I think they would just say "of course everyone died, government is just hiding it, you were a lucky one to survive"....

The other day in youtube I got suggested a short of someone debunking what I assume was a tiktok video of someone else claiming that dinosaurs weren't real because finding dinosaur bones was a rare occurrence, despite the fact that the vast majority of bones don't get fossilized and even then anecdotes of people just randomly coming across dinosaur fossils when digging isn't all that rare because dinosaurs existed for in incredibly large numbers for an (relative to human history) incredibly long time.
The thing that always baffles me about conspiracy theories is that people really think that some shadowy organization would be capable of pulling off and maintaining a cover up operation of such magnitude when most governments throughout history have struggled to do their jobs and almost every single notable fuck-up has bubbled to the surface over time, there's literally no such thing as a secret if more than two people are aware of it.
