I'll give you the benefit of the doubt either you meant to reply to him, or didn't follow the flow of the conversation not being a native English speaker. I've been buying from GOG for years and know they are multi currency, which is why I told him he was wrong.

I think you can still enjoy solo online, and don't require multiplayer. I can't confirm though, I have only played demo a few month ago.
But yes, failed marketing, plus no localization doesn't help sales... (and it was a stretch goal on kickstarter, apparently) :X
From what I understood, multiplayer mode is connecting players from all plateforms, and steamcharts.com numbers only counts Steam users.
