I've given away either 24x (by raw number of giveaways) or 63x (by Steamgifts calculated dollar value) as I've won, does that mean I'm way behind the game? XD

If you rarely gift anything yourself and only enter level 0-1 public giveaways, you're not going to see a lot of wins.

A whitelist is basically just a group of people that you can make exclusive giveaways for. People have various reasons for adding you, but it generally comes down to being well liked and making contributions. I think I'm only on one WL as far as I know and it was because I did a giveaway for a game that didn't come up often that someone had on their wishlist. Simple stuff like that.
Also, if you're here to just win games and not give anything, you're probably here for the wrong reason.

Funny thing, I actually hit level 5, made a giveaway celebrating that fact, and then the next day was back at level 4, cause more stuff got bundled. A humbling experience, for sure.

I understand. I don't want to seem like I'm only here to get free games, I just stopped going on this site for about 9 months and just came back. I will try giving out more games and discussing more often with others. Well, it's just luck, for example, for me, the number of giveaways that I entered and the number of winnings is worst than most people but I only enter giveaways of games I really want and not giveaways just because only few people entered and there's a high chance of winning.
