Why are so many of the monday bundles now full of visual novels? No thanks!

I guess they sell. Why they sell I have not the slightest idea. I've had the most boring gaming experiences giving visual novels a try since I started playing computergames back in the eighties. I literally fell asleep, no kidding.

I know how you feel. I don't quite get how you can enjoy a game that just involves clicking to get to the next image and there's no interactivity at all!

try Hatoful Boyfriend (when it's on sale). It's a bit tedious at first, but depending on your choices you get different outcomes, and they pretty much all make you go "WTF IS HAPPENING!?!?" (sorry, don't have any gifs)

Some of them do have choices, multiple endings and such. Granted they're not really my cup of tea either but I have "played" all the way through, well, one of them. It wasn't a terrible experience.

Think of it less than a game and more of an interactive book. It's about reading a story, so a total (or almost total) lack of actual gameplay is purely intentional. I think it's more about people not knowing what they're paying for and ending up with something they have no interest in. Granted, a lot of cheap 'indie/bundle' VNs have shown up lately worsening the average quality quite a bit, but there are still very good (and expensive) ones out there.

+1

I roll my eyes every time I see these used as bundle filler. I guess the good thing is my wallet is safe today.

I think it's nice to see it for a change, at least it gives those fans a good deal, and the rest still have a lot of options, it's not like they've taken over or anything.

Discouraged Workers
War of the Human Tanks (CARDS)
Sword of Asumi Deluxe Edition + 2 DLC + Soundtrack

That 3 the only good or decent game's there, even if repeats, everything else pure trash like shitty drawn visual novels East Tower and Bionic Heart(even Elephants draw better) and Vanguard Princess(which is a big repeated game and also was free several times.).

Had a glimpse on the 2 East Tower episodes and they look fairly competent to me. Although also a bit subjective. What do you think about the artwork of snow light?

You mean that game where they show you slideshows of not moving images? East Tower is king compared to how shitty looks that, but there is even a worse art that Snow Light, on a game called Final Slam 2.

Cool :) I was missing 4 of them!
Unlike others I enjoy visual novels. :) Especially those with different endings and such. Sword of Asumi was reeally interesting and quite enjoyable!! Definitely give that one a go, guys. :) The first Bionic Heart was alright too, but the second one (which appears in this bundle) I only played like 10 minutes in and was disappointed (compared it to the first one) so I stopped playing lol. The rest I did not try out yet.

Do the 2 DLCs + Soundtrack for Sword of Asumi have separate keys from the game?

No, it's only one key for the whole thing. (Sword of Asumi Deluxe Edition - one key)

Oh I see, that's too bad, as I have the base game. Why did they put it in 2 separate thumbnails in the game list then I wonder. It's misleading....
It says Sword of Asumi Deluxe Edition
Sword of Asumi - Includes 2 DLC + Soundtrack
so I thought we were getting both the Deluxe Edition and the DLCs separately..

Bump because all unused Steam keys for Discouraged Workers have been deactivated by the developer. If you have a spare key for that game from this bundle, it's very likely it won't work.

madsession's link plus two of my unrevealed keys not working... (⊙︵⊙)

I contacted the developers and I got a (very fast) answer:

I am (...), creator of YGGDRASIL STUDIO. We apologize for the inconvenience. We found problem with some keys of Indiegala's Monday #71 in the past, so we've replaced the keys to Indiegala.
Please contact to Indiegala's customer service, then they will replace your key and it will work correctly.
Sorry again,
