Is 2 OZ of beef jerky for $4-$5 to much? I'm thinking of buying in bulk to get some better bang for the buck; is it a good idea?

2 OZ isn't that much, but it's around the right price for it.

Ok, and especially because it's homemade is probably why the Western Star cost a bit more.

I think Western Star is what I should get, because it's homemade, and i'm using an Ebay gift card and there's nothing really much to do with an extra $1.

EDIT:

And also, what's cowboy cut beef jerky? What's the diff.? I tried searching it up but I found nothing.

Yeah it sounds like the best deal. And I think it's just the way that it's cut, like the shape of it or something. Not quite sure about that!

I was thinking about this as Llama and I had chatted about a pizza delivery the other night, but Jerky delivery giveaway would be epic as well. Only for the states though. Which is the suck, as most here are from not USA.

Do you want one flavor or multiple? That's how I'd decide. Looks like one is a sampler.

make your own

You can make your own,you can do it the old way and hang the meat and let it dry that way or get a dehydrator if you do not have one.

2 oz really is not a heck of a lot i remember when a pound was 5 bucks lol i feel old.

You can make jerky out of more then just beef but round steak is not a bad choice for a cheaper but still good jerky or round steak.Just look up some recipes and give it a try.

A recipe for jerky that does not even need a dehydrator
http://thehealthyfoodie.com/home-made-beef-jerky-in-with-the-yummy-out-with-the-nasty/

Either way whatever you do or choose enjoy the jerky it is a nice snack, but home made is always better then most that you will get that is pre-made.

Remember you can use cheaper meat it just will not last as long so make it in smaller batches the more fat the quicker it will spoil.

Buying consumables off eBay... Am I the only person weirder out by this? Maybe my view of eBay is outdated.

I bought quite a few off of eBay in the past. Patron Tequila for sure. I have not used the site in years though. Too much meh.
Nothing like Jerky though, wish all the best to the buyer.

A sealed bottle of liquor is more acceptable than a Ziploc bag of dried meat.

Why not? People sells spit, used tissue, bread bitten by celebrities off the e-bay and you find this weird?

I use to sell socks, covered in chocolate, with pictures of women's feet while being covered in that chocolate..
And bags of garbage.
Oh how I miss eBay... :(

Well, those items are certainly weird...er. But they're either joke products or tailored to specific (creepy) people. Food on the other hand is universal but I don't associate eBay with the phrase "safe to consume." I have a hard time trusting most of the non-consumable listing on the site.
