AFAIK, your credit card will be automatically charged when the time comes.

You can also verify this information in your humble bundle account, in the setting sections.

whats the point of keeping the subscription if you can pay, unsubscribe and pay again the next month

Honest question here, i have no idea

If you only want to subscribe for 1 month or skip a month, go to Cancel Subscription and you'll have an option to "pause a month" this will make you skip payment for that month if the games of that month don't interest you.

There's no way to pay for just 1 month besides doing the pause thing each month or canceling fully.

edit: You will be automatically billed depending on what monthly subscription you chose.
