I sold a bit on G2A and after having several conversations with the staff from that site, I have to say that it should be your very last option. There are plenty of things that bother me about sites like that, but I'll list a few that I noticed about G2A. They constantly remove money from accounts, and they'll tell you differing reasons as to why they do it, but you can't verify what they tell you in any case because despite many users requesting it, they don't display a running total of your account balance. I had to keep track with spreadsheets. As soon as I was able to show them that the reason they gave me for missing amounts was not accurate, they would change the reason. Sometimes money is removed weeks after games are sold because if the buyer charges back, G2A will take the funds from the seller's account, even if the buyer had no issues with the game and the seller already withdrew the funds from the sale long ago.

The site sucks for buyers too. G2A keeps feedback anonymous. Several big time sellers I've met simply request removal of negative feedback, even if it's deserved, and G2A removes the negatives with no questions asked. And almost all of these sellers I've met (through trading) just sell bundle games or cheap region's games (some of them region locked) in huge quantities. No buyers I've talked to who requested refunds for misrepresented, locked, or non-working games have actually had refunds, despite submitting support tickets. And G2A sells these "mystery" game packs, which are always the cheapest games from the cheapest bundles, but they're advertised as if you have a chance at getting a cool game. Some scumbags also use stolen credit cards to purchase games from legit retailers in bulk and resell on sites like G2A. Publishers have actually deactivated keys retroactively for reasons like this. I'm sure you get the idea so I won't go on about other stuff or things others have experienced. At first I defended G2A, but after learning a lot more about the whole operation, I can't believe they're still around.

edit: plus their twitch commercials are the most annoying ads I've ever seen Kappa

I'm completely on your side. I sold more than 400 games on G2A and they always screwed my in every way possible. But I never had a problem with Global keys I bought from them, just go for the +1000 %100 positive sellers.

One example, if you try to sell an AAA game for cheap they'll suspend your auction. If you send a ticket, they'll ask for invoice and the screenshot of key page. Then, MAYBE they'll let you sell your game but magically some british guy with over 900.000 rating is selling the exact same game 0.01€ cheaper than yours ALL THE TIME. The minute you lower your price at the cost of 0.15€ , that british guy lowers 0.01 cheper obviously without the 0.15€ fee. They literally ask you where you bought then go there and buy in bulk to sell their own without the fees. G2A is one giant scam.

I'd recommend Green Man Gaming. Aside from their usual deals, there's always an extra 20% coupon that you can use to buy anything from the site.

GMG doesn't always sell ROW keys. They guarantee the key will be usable in the region you purchased from, but they don't even let you know if it's locked.

Yeah, I've heard about that a few times. Fortunately I never had any problem with the site before, other than some games aren't available for me to buy due to regional block. Guess we better check twice before clicking the buy button.

Had this problem with them twice now... Really disappointing, as I really like GMG.

I've heard a lot of people talking about region lock from there though. So caution is adviced.

Heard about those too. I guess nothing we can do about it as long as they decide not to wrote it down on the store page.

Many GMG keys are ROW, but some aren't at the request of the publisher. Unfortunately they don't mark which games are region locked and they won't help if someone has a problem (according to their FAQ keys are only guaranteed to work in the purchasers region). I've had problems in the past with Bethesda keys from GMG.

Man, GMG really need to be clear on this. Also, they won't do refunds with the reason that the key has been exposed to the buyer. Good thing I never had any problems there yet though

Most keys from GMG are fine, it's only a few publishers that are an issue. I'm just advising caution. It would be a lot better if they were clear on region locks (Bundle Stars always mention them now, Indie Gala have started doing the same and I don't understand why GMG and a few others can't do so...)

Well, if the others are doing it, it's just a matter of time before GMG to do the same. Let's just hope they wouldn't take too long

Well some sites are being honest, but others like Humble Bundle seem to be going in the opposite direction - increasingly giving out region locked games and being evasive about exactly what the restrictions are. Who knows what direction GMG will go?

other than obvious bundles... id suggest greenmangaming, gamesplanet, mac/wingamestore, humblebundle store (which i prefer because most indie games also give you a drm free copy on top of your steam key) are my 4 fav online stores atm. ah and nuuvem, but nuuvem for whats left of row games there :P

indiegala store popped up recently with some really amazing deals (dying light + call of juarez + free shadow of mordor on top of it for $20 or so) but sadly, i missed that one.

and recently another shop showed on r/gamedeals, Imperial games, with some really amazing prices where they instantly started with a few historic lows, but im yet to buy anything there though so cant really vouch for them, other than them having a decent reddit rep :x Ah and they had Football manager 2016 for $29,90 deal running for 24hrs too.

edit: id be extra careful with some publishers games though, regardless if its gmg or humble or younameit. Publishers like deep silver like to lock their games left and right so its always good to check reddit before buying something you want to trade/give away (:

Gamersgate, Gamesplanet (if there are limits, they should be listed), Gamesrepublic, Wingamestore (notice that not all the games come with a steam key), Bundlestars (lists region locks if there are any), Indiegala should all be ROW, to my knowledge and unless stated otherwise. GMG and, recently, HB may be locked and there might not be any indication about the lock. G2a, Kinguin, etc are grey market, so use them or not, at your own discretion.

i think with both gmg and hb its mostly same publishers keys that are region locked (capcom, deepsilver, etc) which are also locked on bundlestars and such but at least bundlestars actually shows a huge red sign how its locked to xx region (:

ah i forgot about gamersgate, but thats probably because i havent bought anything there in more than a year, they used to have amazing prices... not so much nowadays though (:

since people covered other sites selling game keys, i'd recommend getting intro trading.

you can buy tf2 and csgo crate keys from the market (usually $2.40 - $2.50 each), then trade them for whatever gift you want.

there's a trade section here, or you can use another 3rd party site like http://www.tf2outpost.com
it's also very safe if you trade using the steam window (don't deal with untradable gifts). you also know if you are getting a region locked gift since it's marked (unless it's a 4-pack, avoid those).

edit: well i see you are already a trader here, you probably know all this. -.-

i know all this but stopped doing it since gifts are no longer row and it was only profitable when we bought russian gifts
im getting good prices since i live in india all gifts are row but can be only activated in india :L but can be played anywhere
