What is your favorite bundler that isn't one of the big FOUR (Humble, Groupees, Indie Gala, BundleStars)?
so what do you think they can do (maybe bundle format wise or site design wise) to bring in more buyers? (Suggestions like obtain more high profile games or more variety isn't really something that is realistic for most of these bundles besides maybe IndieRoyale)

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering too. I'm not sure what the big four are if Royale isn't one of them.
Edit: Nevermind, I just saw them listed in the poll's question.

Royale has long switched to low-profile games, Desura and Greenlight only with a lot of shovelware. I guess the Big Four in the OP are Humble, Gala, Groupees and Stars, but personally I feel Groupees has followed Royale's path and their stupid reservation offers show their lack of confidence in what they're doing.

No one is forced, that is out of discussion. But still, surprise packs are a classic way of getting rid of unwanted stuff and I believe Groupees are proving that point. Our tastes and our greed may vary but I think it's undeniable their quality has dropped.

Personally I am not a big fan of that diversification, but I understand that's very subjective. No idea about Gamemusicbundle.

That's up for debate really. Groupees and Gala have an awful lot of garbage too. Royale just needs to up their game a little. The drop in quality seemed to have come when started putting out bundles more regularly. I also miss the chiptune incentive to chip in an extra few quid. That's actually the draw for Groupees for me now is the random music additions. More music to listen to while I doodle is always good. Stops me from burning out on my actual preferred music and I can stumble on tracks that actually suit characters / scenarios.

While IndieGala and Groupees bundles aren't always the best, I have bought a few of them. However, I have never purchased an Indie Royale bundle. The only Indie Royale bundle I consider decent was the one with Sniper Elite V2 in it but I already owned it.

Interesting. You made it sound more concrete. Hmmmm, they have been quiet lately though.
Would be a shame I guess, but this is probably inevitable to happen to some with so many bundling sites competing with each other these days. I thought the first Blink Bundle was good but was kind of disappointed/disinterested in the subsequent ones.

well they did have the goodbye logo up for a while, but they later replaced it with new bundle coming soon. It would be a shame indeed. Gamesrage also seems to have a dead page so that might be done.
edit: guess it was only down a for a sec (it's back up for me

Gamesrage is still up for me but they have been inactive for a long time of course

Personally for me I like Flying Bundle for their account page. They were able to reduce the lag of the appearance of the bundles that you purchased, by not automatically revealing all the contents of the most recent purchased bundle. They also were the first to implement a sort of used key function (it is only a check box, but it makes all the difference). They suffer from lack of a great bundle pricing as well as the page designs aren't nearly as clean as some of the other bundle sites. They do however, have a nice variety of games, yet don't always try to toss a bundle at you every second. I doubt that they will ever be able to crack the top four or five in bundle sites, but Flying Bundle definitely has merits to stick around.

Something is very rotten, when you use phrase "the Big Four" referring to part of the industry which calls itself "independent".

well in sales and popularity, those four have risen above the crowd. I suppose I could say the Top 4 or something, but the point is made

Of course. I just thought I'd share an observation.
Imagine that the top 4 does somehow grow massively out of proportion to all the others - a proper Big Four - we'd see a vicious circle formed :)

Humble certainly is big. Probably not rotten yet, but in a league of its own.

I like DIG because you can get a second set of keys for just a few cents. Nice for trading or just doing some cheap giveaways. The games themselves could be better though.

I bought a few on IR, LazyGuys and Blink but I voted Blink because the ones I bought were very nice. I don't like the ever increasing price at IR, DIG does a lot of rebundles, PlayInjector has a (too) high BTA, LazyGuys can have some interesting games on Greenlight.
Others: IndieAmmoBox had an interesting first bundle but that's it.

I really like how the site of the LazyGuys is designed (although not all the bundles have good games). The other ones you mentioned have really poor graphics and scripts and that is really a factor that I subconsciously take into account when I decide what to buy.

IndieGameStand.
Until recently, they've been a great source for DRM free and Steam/Desura keys, and have been very good at not only adding keys as they are available, but emailing you when the DRM free version is updated and/or keys are added.
Site is well organized, and game wallet is easy to find stuff. They've also started marking keys when you use them.

well I don't consider IndieGameStand a bundle site, since they do individual game sales (with multiple games once in a while)

Indie Royale but lately they haven't had very many bundles, and the ones they have put up haven't been very good.

Blink is da bomb! Really the best bundle site for value for money (but they need to put up a new bundle soon).

I know there is already a thread here about your favorite bundle site (and I encourage you to make conversation there as well. My point here is to see some discussion on why or why not they like these various smaller bundle sites. You can talk about the site design, bundle formats, and why they haven't gained more traction with buyers (besides the obvious bundle saturation and lesser media/social media coverage of them).
