Agreed. In the last couple of days, I've been far too lucky (way more than I'm used too). Btw, thank you for all the kind people that created those GAs. My ratio is still good, but it took a bit of a hit. I'll try to create a few more GAs to compensate (besides the GAs I do weekly). My running GAs will also put me over lv. 6 =)
Thank you for sharing Khalaq

I can't justify spending a lot at the moment, whether for myself or to give away. That has meant a sharp reduction in entries for me as well, since I don't want to be labelled greedy.
You're not in any danger of getting that label, with your massive given:received ratio though. :D

My computer sucks too much to run Fallout 4 and I'm flat broke?

hard to believe that you dont have a good computer! you seem like a really hardcore gamer

I'm using a pre build from 2010. It was fairly good back then, with fast CPU and plenty of RAM and hard drive space, but the video card wasn't so great, and falls behind for the new stuff.

This is why you never buy pre-built pc's mate. My rig's processor, ram's, mobo and hdd's are from around 2010 as well and still everything works fine with upgrading the vga from time to time ;)
When you get money outside steam wallet to upgrade and need some help with the new rig's hardware lemme know I can help ;)

Well, I suppose I could have kept using my dead pile of wreckage with the 16MB TNT2, an old school Celeron CPU and 512MB of RAM. But I kind of wanted a working computer instead, and since I didn't have the money to order individual pieces, I got this one on hire purchase, something I could only do with a pre built system.
Edit - Found full specs
2.4GHz Celeron
512MB RAM
16MB TNT2 video card
200GB between 2 HDDs
AKA, it was my best option. I was unemployed back then (and I am right now for that matter), and found the best pre built I could within the budget I was given for the hire purchase loan of NZ$2000. This was an older model, but it had some nice gear and wasn't some all in one PoS like most of the PCs they had to offer (and all they have now, so I won't be repeating a hire purchase to replace this). Its lasted this long without issues, and even now plays most games I'd buy. Its just the high spec stuff that I have problems with. Even MGS5 runs well, can play that one at 1440 * 900 and medium to high settings.

Damn you used that machine until 2010 >.< I feel for you man if this is the case. But yeah I can understand the situation then mate, what I usually do is save for a year or so and upgrade each part whenever I have money and an upgrade is needed instead upgrading the whole thing and resell the part I upgraded. That way costs less money and pc stay relevant spec wise ;)

Truth.
I was shown this though, and it helps. Not perfect, but still early. Hopefully a few more bits can be toned down.

I have no emotions, and all my days are ambivalent

Don't remind me that I need to give away more... I think I've ruined my 3:1 ratio. Must fix.

How can I be happy if I don't have all things?!
P.S. If anyone take this seriously, I definitely don't have a leech status.

I am the walking definition of apathy, what should I do?
Comment has been collapsed.
Apathy comes from the feeling that nothing matters, thereby eliminating any sense of purpose. The only way to escape from such a mindset is to recognize that, in reality, everything matters to one degree or another. That leads to exploring what matters most to you. Once you've identified what you care about, you can then pursue those things which matter most to you, giving you a sense of purpose..

No.
Any specific thing is what it is. Knowledge of a thing, however, consists of understanding its nature, its purpose, and the proper time and place for it. When you know these three, then you will know the value of a thing. When you know the value of things, then you will see how they matter.

Holy crap man. Thats awesome advice. Be my life guru plz xD

This is what haunts my sleepless nights and haunted Cioran's and presumably many others (who were however unable to verbalise it as he managed) before me. What if one is unable to identify anything at all, I wonder - and whilst wondering this I lie to myself telling me that sooner or later I'll find out that that's not humanly possible (one can't live if he doesn't know how to believe lies after all, as another put it).
Anyhow, belated thanks for providing food for thought (or rather a reminder).

Greed is something that sneaks up on you. You have needs, and you try to meet those needs, but it's easy to get caught up in the acquiring and forget to stop once your needs are met. Like a person who keeps on eating after he has filled his stomach, you can lose sight of your true goal. The cure for Greed is Charity, and so I make it a point to give as often as I can afford to do so. In giving, I am reminded that I can "let go" of wealth and it will not destroy my life. In giving, I am reminded that I don't really need that much to live and be happy. In giving, I am reminded that making others happy with worth more to me than any short-term enjoyment I might gain through consuming. If my battle against Greed were the only reason to give, that would be enough.
The truth, however, is that there are many reasons to give.
Let's be honest, though. Talk is cheap. What really matters is action, and I should practice what I preach. That being so, here [ended] are a few giveaways [ended] for those of you who frequent the SG [ended] forum. Enjoy. )
