Ultima VII is a great game

Welp. That's pretty lame. Especially since 2 of them were free already...

I suppose it would be too much to hope for separate keys.

And none of those 4 are on Steam, so no more Steam keys.

Wow really bad bundle. Just what was assumed from origin.

Are you trolling? How come some AAAs for a mere dollar be bad?

Unbelievable.

Most of those games have been free. List of free games that were free for a month from origin Dragon Age Origins, Peggle, Bejeweled 3, and Wing Commander(One of the hidden games). And if you wanted AAAs games why not buy C&C bundle for 5 bucks which is 17 games and Medal of Honor no longer has multiplayer since its so old. And main thing most users on steamgifts would dislike ORIGIN required for most. Along with 1 key for all the origin games.

Dead Space 2 + Dragon Age Origins + C&C Generals for $1 = really bad bundle?

Stupidest thing I've read in a while.

Comment has been collapsed.

How do you not have entire C&C collection. It was usually 5 bucks and Dragon age Origins was free. And if you bothered getting the free game of the month from origin you would notice most of them were free and the 2 hidden games are crappy old games in the time altari and sega gensis.

And one of those games Medal of Honor so old they shut the multiplayer servers down.
So lets recap. If someone who enjoys deals bothered checking once a month since most of them were free you then would "only" get Medal of Honor, C&C, and Dead Space 2 for 1dollar and that's without dlc. Most of them Nonsteam.

"only"

added " " for you in original c);p

Also don't forget all the origin keys are one key so if you have the free ones you lose out. Bought the BTA and knew it was one key but still most of them free and after finding the hidden games were crap from when I was probably 2 years old it was extremely disappointing.

Also keep up the good work AgeOfArmageddon. Users like you keep SG alive and well both in terms of forum activity(21,994) and giving away games(154). Props to you.

Wow, that's disappointing. I mean, I didn't expect Sims 4 or BF4, but Mass Effect 1 or something else could've been pretty great.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

I'm not sure that they could put Mass Effect 1 in the bundle since Microsoft had partial ownership over the first game, so there might be some legal hoops to jump through to do it.

EA has full rights of ME now.

ME1 was on PS3.

Yeah, it only took forever, and had to use the new engine, which isn't used by the PC version.

Hm, weird that they'd do the second game instead of the first if that's the case.

They already did exactly the same with an Indie Gala bundle two years back. Except it was just an Origin key for ME2.

The bundle now is pretty good.
Would love to check out the Plants vs. Zombies game, love Command & Conquer, didn't have the Dragon Age bundle and Dead Space 2. So it's really worth the 5€.
But the extra games are a little disappointing, but it's charity so I don't mind :)

Huh.. I was expecting Dead Space 1 and Mass Effect 1 to be added. Oh well, still a good bundle imo.

Dead Space 1 was an On The House free title, and also in the previous Humble Origin Bundle, along with Dead Space 3.

Mass Effect 1 / 3 are likely not included because

  • Mass Effect 2 was already bundled in the past.
  • It is something to encourage us to purchase more games at a higher price, in order to complete the collection.

Wing Commander 3 and Sim City where alsk on the house though.

It was more likely because it was in the previous bundle. OTH was just mentioned because it was in that.

they released these game for free and now you have to pay for them LOL

free games was

sim city 2000
dragon age origin with full expansion

No, Dragon Age: Origins was just the base game for free. No expansions included.

But not the full set of DLCs. You get some items and the pre order DLC which were made free on all systems when they removed online passes for games, not the follow up campaign, Awakening, or any of the mini campaigns.

You can get all DLCs for Dragon Age Origin free here http://dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_content_%28Origins%29
Scroll down to "Manual installation".

Okay, you can pirate several of the DLCs there, but still not all of them.

Be aware that a majority of the DLC requires an active internet connection and also requires you to be logged into your Bioware/EA Online account that you used to purchase or redeem the content. Otherwise you will get Unauthorized info in the Installed Content.

Too bad though, I had the Collector's Edition / Blood Dragon Armor on 360, would be nice to have it again

Same here. Though I am glad that I managed to get a copy of mass effect 2 and dead space 2 without paying a part to ea and for the same price as it would be on sale. :-P

~ $4.6 paid - Didn't own PvZ, Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 2, MoH, CnC and WC4 - and I can still gift the steam-multiples. I think this was a great opportunity to get these games for this low price.
. But EA again lowballed by pushing all those once-free games it's making me a little sad. (They were free for like a month each - and problem is that people who know about bundles are actually informed about these deals as well)

I hope this isn't legit...because that'll make 4 games in this bundle that I already had via On The House :/

Not liking this. Only want Dragon Age 2, and based on previous bundle it might appear on the house later on. If it only had Steam key (it was on Steam, but got removed)

They would definitely sell a ton of extra bundles if they simply added a DA2 Steam key.

Well, it maybe for korea but not for other country. (i say that because some of this games are on the house games wich weren't on my country due to licensing or shit if i remember correctly. whenpeople had sim city 2000 on the house i had dead space for exemple)

What's kinda disappointing is that Origin games are all on single code. And weirdly implemented cause now I have bunch of double copies in my library, even after restart.

they have different game id's, steam has the same thing with a small number of games, ie i can enter arma 2 giveways despite having it on steam cause ive got a different ID version than the current one

Well, I mostly bought it because I wanted Dragon Age Origins (missed the free offer) and 2, ME2 & Deadspace 2, so I don't really mind. I really didn't expect anything good to come out of the bonuses since, well.. it was the same with the Eidos Square Enix bundle.

Overall it's not a bad bundle for me, but I would've obviously have preferred other stuff than they have already given away for free.

I was going to buy Dead Space 2 on sale on Steam very recently (I think it was last week) but never got round to it. It was £2.49 ($3.67) and I the beat the average here for $4.50. For my extra $0.83 I got Medal of Honor Allied Assault War Chest, C&C Generals, Dragon Age 2, Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare, Ultima VII and 3 Steam keys to make giveaways out of on Steamgifts. Seeing as I was willing to pay what I was for Dead Space 2 only last week I really can't complain here.
