Well, I was myself. But uhm, lately I had to reinstall SG++, which reset all of my tags also. So I kind of removed all my whitelist/blacklist, and added back the guys I remember all by the name, plus the ones on my previous solve for whitelist & train puzzle. And blacklist however on other hand, is now near to empty. (Only scoring one, no yay.)

So what do you do? Meanwhile take this short and small giveaway, been holding onto the key to decide whether to use it or giveaway.

When I can I try to clean my bl, a lot of "Suspended Permanent", I guess they don't need a spot anymore :V

For whitelist it's hard to say, as I'm to lazy to tag users and I usually don't know why I whitelisted them

Yeah but, what if you see your former whitelisted people no longer being white enough? :o

Luckily it didn't happen (yet), anyway... what is an "Awesome Redeem" xD?

The guys who redeem in like minutes, at top an hour. o.o Otherwise kicks in my OCD when that "Send Gift" notification stays there, at this point I usually check the website once in a few days only. Which reminds me, I have one more blacklist tag for non-redeem.

though being able to redeem in minutes or less than an hour might be hard for people in another timezone.

Well, it's not like a must for them, it gives them a bonus because it'll bug me less. :P Plus I usually state when I'll do so, for them to wait until giveaway ends if possible for quick transaction, and if they do, I give them a secret whitelist bonus!

Should I ever win one of your GAs, I might be able to beat the hour... since I'm in Germany and Turkey is only an hour ahead. :-)

One of my giveaway winners complained to me that he had to wait for 1 day to get the key. I found that humerous and strange because he's a user i've seen on SG that's zealotish concerning SG rules but by those very same SG rules I have 7 days to deliver the key not more but also not less. :-)

I also like to deliver the winning key/gift fast but there's also something like real life and different timezones (SG users are from all over the world).

I like this set of tags and am planning to use it myself :-)

One question - do you type every tag from scratch or do you use some kind of pre-defined template (I'm new to SG++)

I only blacklist people who really did something bad as in regifting, not redeeming won stuff in other words got suspended.
Not taking into account being rude/arrogant whatever (people can have a bad day), saying thanks/no thanks, bad ratio etc, it's not supposed to be my dayjob to keep track everyday of some list.
If someone wants to be off it they can always ask and if someone redeemed themselve, i'll be happy to take them off.

Hmm, I take account for being rude as in, someone is seeking help, and one guy comes in just to drop his shitpost, and then leaves. For the arrogancy, refer to people with threads like "This system is a scam, only those who give away can win games, so if you pay you win games."

I don't really mind saying thanks, it doesn't usually happen for me anyways. Same with bad ratio, not really addicted on checking them, long as they're not begging to leech for more, or just simply refer to previous arrogancy.

And for the last part, what about if a user has blacklisted you but you don't know why? Would you try to learn why or just continue on Cross-Blacklisting?

But rude can be kinda grey, i mean some people easily take about anything to be considered as rude.
Some can have a bad day, and offcourse there is a difference when someone continues to behave that way.
But i can also imagine some people getting a bit ticked off when another person opens the same question/thread for a x th time while when they just used the search button they could have gotten their answer too.
And those arrogance threads, i bet often they are just made by kids, and you can't really blame them either for being one, doesnt make their behaviour right, but again unless it happens repeatedly why not just ignore it
Often when i seen such topics about SG Is a scam site etc they usually also regift or have other offences too.

It happened twice to me that i noticed i was blacklisted, with one i bothered to ask why, and he/she didn't know and removed me from the list, with the other i just couldn't bother to ask but i also understand if someone is easily triggerhappy with their blacklist they would get spammed with people asking why.
And if someone blacklisted someone for saying thanks (which i did in the past but learned now to only say thanks after i win or if noone else bothered to say anything), so be it, but not all newcomers know about it.
Would be easier if the tags were implemented so people can see they got blacklisted and also the reason why, but i can't see that happening.

That's hence I use the tags with SG++ plugin so far. Otherwise it's really hard to keep the track of it. Other than that, I got your points, but yeah, I pass on those exceptions, only some names that I see more than a few times acting the same way. That's when I consider and go like, "Okay, no need to be being this tense and making people feel bad/sad, that is getting really rude now."

Cleared my balcklist once. Some of the people I removed from it ended up on it again as they were/are still breaking rules. I didn't go looking for them, just spotted them again, quite clearly still regifting, not activating or giving away free games and remembered their names or avatars from previously being on there.

I have only 2 people on my blacklist so it's not that hard for me to keep the track. Sometimes I clean my whitelist, I do my best to keep it small and well... rewarding.

I generally don't remove blacklist members...but on a couple of occasions I have done so...you know, for reasons. If somebody asks me why they're blacklisted, I'll always try to tell them the reason. I don't keep notes (yet). If/when I reach the cap, I'll have to make a pass at removing some.
I will occasionally prune whitelist members (especially ones I added very early on and don't even remember them any more). And of course when a whitelist member won a $20 non-bundled GA and didn't comment before or after the GA...had to change that person's color. :D

I only blacklist people who break the rules, so there's no point in clearing it. Unless they change of course, there's always a second chance.

You can still clear out for their permanent suspension, as blacklist is limited to 1K people.

It's very rare that I ever blacklist someone. If they managed to get on it, they're generally staying there. There may be special cases, of course, but 90% of the people on my blacklist are those who have won one of my giveaways and have atrocious ratios, like 50:1 or something. It's nothing personal, moreso I just think they've had their turn to win something from me and I'd rather they gave future chances to more deserving people.

I update my txt before making new giveaways, but no, I don't clear them. I remember once I had to blacklist someone in my whitelist. That kind of things are sad

If I see someone in my whitelist do something to get blacklisted, I just remove the whitelist. It's sorta like blacklisting them from the whitelist giveaway, though I suppose if its something egregious I might blacklist them.

I'm not going to be removing blacklisted people. They are mostly people who spoil puzzles. Puzzles by random users is like this site's metagame, and it bothers me when someone damages the community.

I don't whitelist that many people so I can't imagine clearing it. They're all helpful grownups who add to the community.

Nah. I add people because they did something, and I can't just willy nilly add or remove them. You can move, of course, but I'm not going to clean my list just for the sake of clearing my list.

Blacklist: I rarely update. Too much trouble trying to find out what they did to deserve a blacklisting... chances are, they deserved it.
Whitelist: I updated a bit recently. Removed inactive users or people I don't recognize anymore, and added new forum users.
