I'm genuinely happy for you! Plus the Netherlands are pretty neat!
Where exactly are you moving to?

Are you kidding? Dude, I'm jelly! Been to Amsterdam a few times. Yes, it's crowded and never ever ride a bike there, people with their mopeds will run you over. True story, happened to me. :D
Nonetheless it's a beautiful city and I envy you for moving there. :)

Ah, yeah, they are pretty relentless there when it comes to traffic.
I think everything there is charming considering architecture. I just love the feel of the city, the food, the stores and that you can trip out in the Vondelpark and noone cares. :D

I tried being a 'Monk' but decided to be a 'Black Mage' instead..
Anyway Congrats homeboy!

Could have been better, but I'm not complaining :P It's still a nice leap from what I've earned before (mostly because of the currency changes). Anyway, the company is a rather big one, so I'm hoping for a rise once I pass successfully the first 'test' period of 6 months.
That said, salary is not the most important thing to me. I couldn't quit my last job for a long time, because I just really liked the people and to be honest I still kinda miss my team and I'm probably going to pay them a visit pretty soon just to catch up. My new manager seems to be a cool guy and from what I've seen so far the atmosphere should be pretty much similar to what I've had in the previous company, so I think it's gonna be great :P

No more talking to clients ? That's a nice improvement, congrats :D

I've actually enjoyed that in most cases, it was mostly consulting processes and requirements for the new pieces of projects and then consulting the development of the projects, possible bugs and changes. And once you've worked enough you got to know the representatives of the clients, which were mostly ladies, so the conversations were rather enjoyable and on a not-so-official level :P

Ah well if there were ladies, that changes everything :D

After some months of slacking, playing games, spending much of my time on SG and working on my master thesis, I'm going back to business and moving to the Netherlands. It's not the dream job that would be game dev, but I'm moving from coding and spending time talking with clients, to mostly coding, so I guess it's for the best, 'cause I'll finally get on a real professional level of developing. And I'm also (finally) moving in with my fiancee, who is in the Netherlands for few months already. While I won't have that much spare time to waste on SG, I'll still spend some of it here definitely.
Anyway, I'm kinda happy, so here are two games just to celebrate the time well spenton SG in the previous months :P
And a little something, something for my wl - Lost Planet 3.
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who congratulates me, I'm too lazy to reply to everyone individually :P
EDIT2: New milestone hit:
EDIT3: Added a new giveaway, a classic (lvl 3+): http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/QPikZ/bad-rats
EDIT4: Added one more GA - Outland.
EDIT5: Added the last GA - Stanley Parable. Once again, thanks to everyone who posted here and in the giveaways. I'll close the thread once all the games from the GAs have been distributed. Cheers!
