yeah, why they don't just give away games for free?
imho $8 for Bioshock Infinite is such a steal, makes me sad a bit. I very rarely buy a game at full price, but this kind of discounts make you never want to buy them right on release (i bought Bioshock Infinite at 7.5€ on steam btw). I'm not even talking about Dead Space 3 getting in humble bundle so soon after release (well, maybe they know better how to increase their profit, let's hope game quality doesn't drop on future games)

This is like the most boring editor's choice ever. Except for Foul Play perhaps.

Defense Technica for sure, most likely brothers too.
Too bad XCOM collection ends up at the same price as it was during winter sales.

Can the promotional credit used by anyone or is it linked to an amazon account?

Alright. Otherwise I would have some to giveaway but ok :P

Will most likely get Contrast on the 10th, been wanting that game for a while now.

My two purchases are gonna be Brothers and Contrast.
But... I seem to be having problems figuring out how to get the EC credits to work. I only get the Buy and Download option... disappointing. Any tips on how to fix this or point out how much of an idiot I am cuz I do not know how to do it right?

If you have any credits, it will automatically apply when you hit Buy and Download. This will bring you to a confirmation screen. Make sure it says "Promotion Applied: -$5.00" before you actually click the purchase button!

Thanks for explaining this. That removes any last bit of hesitation or doubt I would have in making a purchase using the EC credit. Definitely gonna add these two great games to my collection now... once I have the monies come the end of the week.

Tomorrow(/Monday) we will find out more EC games right?

already is 8,20$ on amazon, at least if you have the 5$ coupon, they lowered it to 13,20$

I jumped on this deal also, thanks for the heads up.

Purchasing select items from Amazon during december (mainly downloadable games I belive) adds a $5 coupon to your account which can be used during their Editor's Choice sale in january.
There's no way to get them now as they are tied to ones account.

Mass Effect 2 + a couple of DLCs (Bioware Points) will go on sale also

If people really want non-Steam games, I'll put them up, but I usually try to include the Steam items mostly (since this is pretty much a Steam forum :P). Thanks for bringing it up though!
*changed only to mostly

Well, I am for one who prefers DRM free games greatly over those found on services like Steam and Origin.
Your sharing would be greatly appreciated!

Oops, kind of made a mistake there. I usually include most of the Steam deals, and a few of the good non-Steam deals. It's more difficult for me to judge those, since I have no idea about price history unlike the sales for Steam.
Anyways, I added this one and will keep your feedback in mind.

Those editors have terrible choice in video games.

For real. There's Takedown: Red Sabre with a metascore of 32, Ace Patrol which is a ported mobile game, Battlefield 4 which I've heard still has serious bugs, and countless older games not even released in 2013. Sure, they don't specify that they have to be released in that year, but was the past year that bad for PC game releases that they had to fill their list with really old games? Don't get me wrong, I'm slightly tempted to at least try Takedown and Ace Patrol looks fun, but they and the rest of the list are a terrible sampling of recent games. Alright, well I hardly care about how awful this list is, so I'm not sure why I just typed up this whole rant...

From the the last 2 years - most of the better deals came in the latter part of the month. Most of them right now are EA and 2K because apparently they respond the fastest. I guess their employees don't get as much time off during the holidays :P

Brothers is pricematched to Steam, which actually has a clear label on when it ends. I expect the pricematch to end when the midweek madness ends.
