I love this description :D yeah, Molyneux made lots of promises and pretty much never kept them. Same goes for Black & White series, which could be so much more and entertaining
Nobody takes Molyneux's promises seriously... we all know he is a hype creator that never delivers half of what he promises but yet some of his games are fun.
