To The Moon was amazing, although the ending didn't satisfy me. I understand that it worked well with the theme of the game and a lot of people loved it, but ehh. You should definitely play it though!

Depending who you ask TtM is either brilliant or manipulative.

ABS is a short, minimalistic story-based game about a boy and his friendship with a rescued bird. It doesn't have any dialog. This was enough to get many enraged that the game wasn't a sequel to TtM that Kan Gao thought wise to put up a disclaimer on ABS's storefront page on Steam.

Anyway, it's only about one hour long. It does Things with Game Design that Are Wrong, but it doesn't matter. Play it.

Yes play them both. However I think that The moon is a masterpiece in everything. Its ending is the best thing I've seen in years in terms of narration/music/storytelling. The only bad thing with a bird story is that it is WAY too short. It's also worth it though. Just not as much as to the moon.
