I've always wanted to take a proper train ride.
I took several 1-2 day train trips. It's fun! besides dealing with public bathroom and no shower
That sounds awesome. We have good public transportation here (lightrail), and I've ridden some short-duration trains in Germany to get between towns, but I've always wanted to have a proper train adventure.

Depends on where you live :) I am pretty sure trains are much more expensive in EU and US
Definitely. Sometimes, its about as much to ride the train as it is to catch a cheap flight, and takes much longer.

On a train you can completely enjoy the ride - no worries - just passing scenery that a car, bus or plane will never, ever provide...
