You conserve your strength by swimming with the current and are eventually swept up into a tidal estuary and onto the mud flats. You find a chest washed up along side you and inside and relatively dry you find a tinderbox.
From the mud flats you make it to the shoreline where amongst the sand dunes you are able to search around for some deadwood
