Apparently shamans always win. You get to work on time and also defeat the dark lord and probably get some awesome loot as well.

This is probably the best ending and I wish I had Barbie Dreamhouse Party to give you, but you will just have to make do with this instead. For anyone who got here quickly, here is a key I got from a bundle that is now apparently worthless;

Well, i'm not that guy, but for whatever reason I chose this first (maybe cause they always win?) but I already have Skyrim (and 2k hours in it) like any good CyberEvil would.

Nah, you can still mod Skyrim outside of Steam Workshop; hopefully the hubbaloo will die down. And it was only smart of Valve to choose Skyrim since the modding community is super active and huge.

That was what I thought at first. But I'm already looking at the results of the fishing mod affair on Nexus (the one that was pulled due to using elements of a non-profit mod) - with people falling out with each other, abandoning the community, taking mods down, etc and wondering how it will end up.

Hopefully things will settle down a lot, but even though you can mod Skyrim without Steam the mod community simply doesn't exist in isolation and this is going to have a long term impact. And I have lost a lot of faith in Steam from their clumsy handling of this.
