had problems with my last Missing giveaway. had to buy a second copy in order to deliver it to the winner. so, i have this one left. please have it! :)
Thanks KA, didn't know of this game until now but it looks interesting, revisiting the old FMV style games. I still remember the controversey around Night Trap, now that was silly and so was the game.
Had to look that up - it was intitially although it eventually found it's way to 3DO & PC a couple of years after release. I had it on the Sega CD and I was console-only in those days.
While I'm only level 6, thank you for the giveaway! I've found this while looking up The Marvellous Miss Take giveaways by searching for "miss" :) Without you I wouldn't have found this game - I'll keep an eye on it's reviews and sales :)
well, if you like the idea of FMV games, this is a really solid one. i like it and look forward to the next episodes (which hopefully don't take too long ^^).
I like them, though the acting in the older games (like 7th guest) ... well let's just say, it could have been a little better :P Games weren't so widely accepted as today, so it's really possible that they could convince/pay only worse actors to appear in those games - but this looks really good, and surprisingly it's not even too expensive to begin with :)
most of the 90's FMV games were extremely low budget, compared to film projects. so the actors obviously were cheap. but they had this charming b-movie feel. so that was ok for me.
Missing has decent actors, but not enough dialog in my opinion. a lot of the time you are alone and try to escape. i guess this will change with future episodes. but it is very enjoyable. and yes, it's cheap. but also only 30-40 minutes play time. they plan to maybe sell the other episodes as a season pass (which i would like, since it will most likely be a little cheaper).
another good FMV game is Her Story. didn't play it yet, but i heard a lot of good things about it.
