To make it easier to identify games you want when looking at bundles.

One thousand is still just a sliver of Steam's complete library! :P

Lol..
I spam my wishlist with things that look interesting...
It would be nice to have another list for things i really am considering purchasing anytime soon.
It's really a limitation of Steam more than anything.

I had that last Christmas.
A friend bought me a game from my wishlist, but I really only had it there to keep an eye on it, waiting for it to bundle or whatever.
But, I'm playing it. :D

As Loops said, would be nice to have two or more lists. I use it a lot to keep track of some games I thought looked nice but either the price is too high at the moment or still haven't seen enough of it to know if it's actually good. And many times I don't even bother adding games that I know I actually want as they are games I'm not going to forget to check on my own.

I kind of use Follow for that, but it's still not ideal.

I sometimes click on Follow when the games are still in Greenlight, but haven't really seen where the games I have on follow show up. I have the style "Steam NewUI Features' Remover" installed so I don't see the curator and some other stuff, maybe it shows up there.

Do you use your landing/newsfeed page? Stuff from followed games shows up there.
And they will be on the Followed tab on your Games list.

Not really, but don't know why I didn't check follow in the game part. I guess most of the games in greenlight I clicked on favorite and not follow cause there where not many games in the follow section. Thanks for the info, I'll try and use "follow" more.

Thanks for this chance dys.
Pretty much the same as the others who have commented. I put a lot of games on my wishlist just to keep track of a game that I find interesting but not interesting enough to purchase at that moment or an obscure game that I probably wouldn't come across advertised on the front page but piqued my interest. If I move a game to the top it means I actually want it. Though mine's far from 1k lol. At 126 right now.

I had that for a while. But I decided I need to focus my gaming this year. So I cut everything from my wishlist that I wouldn't actually play pretty soon after getting it.

I have a large wishlist but I can only speak for myself.
I enjoy collecting many different types of games - RPG, Turn-Based, Strategy, SciFi, Simulators, and many others. In addition, I collect Steam Trading Cards and Steam Badges so I seek those games. I also prefer to have all of the components to my games so I attempt to acquire relevant DLCs (though I sometimes ignore purely cosmetic DLCs).
Basically, my wishlist is just a simplified method of remembering all the various items on Steam that I intend to get later. I am averse to paying MSRP for most software, games included, and use IsThereAnyDeal to track prices on my wishlisted items. It has never been about what things I want most and it hasn't been ordered for almost two years. I do not treat it as a gift registry for others to use to learn what I would most like and a good portion of the list was, in fact, created before I had anyone on my friend list to even look at it. My wishlist is just a shopping list, like I have on the refrigerator.
That reminds me - I need milk and eggs.

Maybe we should be able to turn off Wishlist visibility, like inventory.

Hi, could you check the key. It's telling me that it's a duplicate code.

Yep. I accidentally put the one from the other day. Fixed it now.

Got it, thanks a lot!
