Seems like you haven't read the Zelgh guide yet. I'd suggest you read that first, then attempt this. Trust me, you will see through this the moment you are done. As for the rest of the train being harder than this, I'm working on making this an even playing field. So that I can trap even more people :D

I am well aware of zelgh's guide. I have been solving puzzles on SG for quite some time. I did retire from puzzle-solving a week or two ago though because most puzzles people make nowadays are more frustrating and annoying than they are fun.

Well, true. Puzzles these days are mostly designed to shut people off until hints are given. I would simply suggest looking at the bigger picture , and moving ahead.
