I know nothing about GoT, so I feel I wouldn't quite enjoy it as much as some other person would. Therefore I won't be entering.

Very worth it, though I haven't read the books yet.
It should still be an interesting experience to see what they chose to film and what to leave out, and the differences between the TV show and the books. :)
I was against it at first. I thought it was one of those overhyped TV shows that just had a lot of killing and nudity.
...Which is true, but the story is quite a journey.
